Love the art direction and the gameplay is as simple and bare-bones as I'd expect.. in a good way. Playing as the man you setup defenses and protect the city. Playing as the monster you destroy the city while protecting yourself. Really fun game, Both play styles are incredibly satisfying. Lots of great customization options. I'd recommend turning off the "retro" filter in the graphics menu, which basically just downscales the resolution and makes it harder to see. I'm not sure why this setting is on by default, it makes the game much more frustrating. That aside, this is one of the most satisfying games to just pick up and play.

Microsoft wish there random name generator was this good. Original can suck it, on this version u get to terrorise Paris as a midget. Don't tell the devs, i beat the 1st 5 lvls w 1 tank and an auto clicker. I love that if you get a name that increases your size, you can nearly wipe out the whole city with only 2 abilities.

I used to play the game on flash and I loved it, and as much as I enjoyed playing the game once again, the game is riddled with bugs Such as: [list] [*] randomly getting stuck in place as monster. [*]being flinged into the air as a monster. [*]being flinged around the map as human. [*]overral game balancing [spoiler](a lot of monster abilites among with the monsters are completly useless, while spamming the tnt solos all monsters).[/spoiler] [*]the game not counting progress towards achievments correctly[spoiler](if you replay the same map 30 times, you can get the achievments for beating all 30 maps).[/spoiler] [*] in the monster customising menu when you give a monster a tail and then switch to no tail, the tail remains. [*] not being informed that customising the monster changes it stats, it's a really important mechanic which isn't mentioned anywhere, this is especially flutrating since you aren't told which stats will change [/list] My biggest issue is with the [b]Master Blaster[/b] achievment, which requires you to use 1000 special attacks making it the longest achievment in the game. Trying to finish the it I bought 500+ fireballs in order to get the achievment, just to realise they don't count as a special attack, in fact only the first monster's unlocked ability counts as a special attack, which I didn't know of because [b][i]it isn't stated anywhere in the game[/i][/b]. Making me waste unnecessary time with the product, and take away from my personal life All this with the games steep pricing makes me not suggest buying it to anyone, nostalgia really isn't worth it guys and gals.

THE ONLY THING THAT PREVENTS THIS FROM BEING A PERFECT 10/10 GAME IS THE LACK OF THE MONSTERS BEING ABLE TO USE ALL OF EACHOTHERS ATTACKS needs update for that AND the human has one non unlockable weapon under the screen of tanks and stuff and i somehow wound up with 31 man coins but PLEASE GIVE THE MONSTERS AS FREE USE OF ALL OF THEIR WEAPONS AS THE VERY OP MAN! some things extremely challenging especially the time bonuses on missions! All of the monsters need the fart attack like in the original Man Or Monster LOL. but in every other way great job :) !!! P.S.If they all farted with the original Man Or Monster animations when they use the Fart Attack it would make my day. update needed.

Super underrated arcade style game we got here. Although could use more content as it currently lacks in features that could keep you playing for hours. Still worth the buy.

Great game, it's definantly the best kaiju game out there, without even being a licensed godzilla product, it catures every essential feature oe should have. The game it captures it all perfectly how fun smashing or defending cities should be. The gameplay is fun for both campaigns and i can see myself running through the game multiple times just for fun. The developers are open and accept reasonable critisism and are well deserving of support. This game deserves a great deal of love and attention in order to allow these brilliant guys to carry on with further projects and titles, be they using this IP or another. Worth the price and worth the time Visually stunning, designs are unique and iconic in their own way without feeling stale. Designs of everything suits the game perfectly and are aesthetically pleasing.

Super Man or Monster is a fantastic game that hearkens back to the days when video games were fun! You play as man or monster either destroying a city or trying to stop a monster from the same thing. Fun gameplay, great visuals and a ton of heart make this a game worth getting. There's also two player couch co-op for some monster blasting and city smashing good times. The game boasts 3 objectives per level that can be completed including score, time and hidden object recovery. I really love what the devs have done here, and look forward to future projects from them. My only real negative here is that the monsters are at times painfully slow moving, but that's really there to balance things out bit so not much could really be done to improve this minor annoyance.

A new name on the indie genre.I played this game when it was a web game I would never turn it down for another monster shooter would TOTALLY recommend
