I don't know how this is on VR but on PC it is crap. My mic seems to be on a delay. When I try and load my own music it will only do it once then I have to exit, reload, and then pick another song. And speaking of my own songs, after I finished the song the game kept going. It only sometimes suppports my controller and when I use my keynoard and mouse I can't select any of my items. It's like it completely forgets which I'm using and then says, "Screw it! Just look around with the mouse and do nothing else!" This game is a great concept but absolute failure in the excecution.

Stage Presence is a really unique and fun game to play in VR, which honestly is refeshing to see devs who are really creating new experiences! Probably one of the most entertaining games to play with a group while in VR. The gameplay feels intuitive and the karaoke mode ensures that even once the career mode is over you have huge replay value with any music you want. Finally the devs are really on the ball with their customer service and for this price it's definitely a must have in and VR collection!

I really enjoyed this - I'm terrified of getting up in front of large groups of people, so the virtual experience of flailing (vocally, and sometimes physically) in front of a digital crowd was an interesting experience.. especially the parts where I get hit in the face by a digitised bottle of wee (the laser pointers gave me flashbacks to classes in highschool).
If you're looking for a fun, slightly silly, rather unique experience, where you get to be the center of attention for hundreds to thousands of people (whether they're angry at, or cheering for you), and perhaps want to improve your "how to dodge the occasional thing thrown at me" skills, I'd heartily recommend this.

This game is stupid and boring. This is how you "play"... a band fakes breaking a guitar or some crap and you stand in front of a microphone and make noises or the crowd will boo you. you can literal shout fart and piss into the mic and that works. do that every "level" for "points". These people ruin any good will or idea VR brings to the table. this is a waste in every single thing they did. Had it been some kind of karaoke game, like I thought it was, maybe that would be cool, but it's crap. stinky putrid rancid green sliding out of a baby's diaper crap.

I am sorry that I have to give this game thumbs down. Desipite good graphics and an interesting new concept there simply isn't enough meat to make this game worth to play for more than max 5 minutes. Not sure it will ever be really playable and enjoyable to me hence I have chosen to uninstall the game not sure I will ever look at it again.
Pros: Good graphics, new idea for a game
Cons: Long load times, very weak game play

Game doesn't work. After all the options just says "Stage presence now loading" and freezes forever. Window says program not responding

I like the game but can't recommend it with a clear conscience.
Once you start digging in, the flaws become apparent.
The UI stops working when you have more than about 3 songs listed for karaoke mode.
So it's really unplayable as a karaoke app which would've been the best use for this game.

If you suffer from stage fright or are anxious about public speaking, prepare to evacuate your bowels.
Stage Presence is a game that will put you on stage, in front of a baying mob out for entertainment or blood. Which will they get from you?
Armed with a microphone you are tasked with keeping up the spirits of your fickle audience in a range of crazy and not-so-crazy venues. Perform well and you will be made to feel like a god, perform badly and prepare to be drenched in urine and blinded by laser-pens as the crowd turns on you and things take a turn into darkness and desperation.
You can even jump into Karaoke mode, load up a song from your own library and sing along to that (With playlist and streaming support coming soon).
While a few issues exist, they are being actively worked on and the dev is very open to feedback and plans to support the game in a major way implementing changes and fixes that will satisfy just about every concern that has been mentioned so far.
Whether you want to play it as a kind of rhythm game played with the voice, feel like a rock star or even as therapy for stage/public speaking anxiety, you'll find something you like in here.
With the online aspect, you can allow your performances to be opened up to other players who will populate your audience and let you know exactly what they think about how you are doing. Sing, tell stories, perform stand-up, beatbox, whatever you want to do, here you will find your audience.
Strap on a VR headset for full immersion, throw up those horns \m/ and take to the stage...

Horror manifests itself in various forms. A seemingly happy chilled out rock n roll game turns on itselfs and embodies that embarassing dream of making a fool of yourself in an audience of thousands. Attempt to imagine the crowd in their underwear? You can try but that won't stop the bottles of piss, laser pointers and booing.
Stage Presence is a game that certainly feels to be built around VR and an audio input device. Your job is to entertain the crowd when all your equipment breaks through the power of Voice. This game is certainly recommended as an excellent party game with others in the room. A lot of entertainment can be provided from watching your friends getting drunk and attempt their best at singing and how to entertain a crowd, all with a leaderboard for friendly competition. While playing by yourself it certainly is viable with the ability to go online and with streaming features such as the crowd being users from the Twitch audience to judge your skills. Just make sure you have a soundproof room.
Overall I'd say this game is a must have party game for VR and those that want to demo it to friends and family; while it can be played on Desktop you are limiting the experience and enjoyment you can have for that fully immersive stage presence.

I cannot recommend this game currently. It's a shame. There's a very good idea here, but it's just not very well executed. So the big draw is that you get to experience what it's like to sing or perform in front of a big crowd. Well, the problem is that your singing or performance really has nothing to do with how the crowd will react. You will need to adjust your mic so that you are loud enough and therefore the crowd will cheer. You can literally say anything as long as it's loud and alternate your pitch.
There's a multiplayer option, but there was nobody online when I played. There's a karaoke option, but you have to go through a bunch of steps so that the words show up on screen. There's items to pickup and play with, but most of them are just one trick ponies. There's crowd reactions, but most of the crowd looks the same and their actions are so scripted that after 5 minutes you will have seen them all.
This game really needed to sell the multiplayer aspect. It could be more like "Comedy Night"; encourage users to watch other people's performances and interact. Set showtimes for people. Give people a reason to want to see somebody else perform. If nothing else, let us be able to record our own performances. Include comedy or acting shows (not just singing). Encourage friending of other players. That would be the true "STAGE PRESENCE" VR title that we want. This falls short of that social experience.
Rating 4/10 (would gladly change to recommend if future updates improve current experience)
