Brilliant game! I definitely recommend for RTS enjoyers, especially if you enjoyed Syrian Warfare.
- Graphics are good ;
- Gameplay very similar to Syrian Warfare, but with some adjustements which feel nice ;
- The game allows you to customize your units and keep a form of progress through the campaign.

Ignoring the politics part and the stolen aspects I gave this game a try. I usually try to get at least a hour through before I make my decision on a game but this I couldn't even pass that. Its in straight, boring. I think the dev just choose a event and wanted money based on the event instead of gameplay. A lot of unfinished stuff, no utility command clicks, why cant you shift click in a Strat game ? You cant pre set commands, there's a few bugs, engagement doesn't work, you tell troops to go attack a squad they just keep running at the squad with prayers and dreams like a Calvary charge. Also its boring you just go to one point to another. I don't care if your gonna throw politics and stolen aspects into a game, that should be a buffer, not a excuse to make a bad game.

I tried the demo for fun, finished the prologue and bought the entire game, I love it, sure it has propagandaù like ANY piece of media about this war (misses obv the war crimes russian did only showing some the AFU commited). But I don't find it really breathing on my neck as it still keep the realism for troop stats, and about troops, god this game might be one of the best game to summarise how is urban warfare, veichles are pratically useless if you didnt enstablish a strong frontline and being sure therese no pocket of resistance or unit hidden ready to destroy your veichles is something pretty hard, in general I am having great time with this game as honestly it's very well done in the SFX compartment, I would love just more content, but counting the war doesn't seems near to end I am sure there will be plenty of possibilities to get more content.

neoliberal piggers seething fr, Ukrainian nationalists are fighting for Larry Fink to own their country and fill it with Indians
It's a mechanically good game, I have mixed feelings about what I think is the health mechanic which is highly forgiving. Instead of taking hits probabilistically killing your guys, they have regenerating health which rewards smart unit management and removes the RNG, but I don't think that's to everyone's liking. Still, when my guys get killed, I know it was my fault, and playing smart helps me preserve my forces for lengthy missions.

Boring propaganda (like too DIRECT you feel like you're watching the Russian national TV), endless loading screens that are taking forever on my very fast M.2 , gameplay is so much worse than Syrian Warfare, idiotic AI, soundtrack is so generic, also one thing I really liked about Syrian warfare is the selection voice dialogues they were so much fun! and different from one unit to the other depending on the type, and sometimes they would say long sentences that were so iconic for me I used to look them up on youtube. Product refund is on process...

Another good game by "The Cats WHo Play" after Syrian Warfare.
First let's address the elephant in the room. Is this Russian propaganda? Yes, a part of this is. However it is not much different than what you get in Call of Duty or similar games. It justs comes from the Russian side.
That fact aside, let's come to the actual game.
The game describes the events of the first month of the invasion from the air assault on Gostomel to the withdrawal of Russian forces about a month later.
It is an improvement upon the prevous title Syrian Warfare both in gameplay during battles and the GUI. I escpacially liked the customisation options between missons with the ability to provide different equipment and award medals to your veteran units that you retain from the previous battle. The unit type limits also provide a realistic distribution of unit types.
It is a good tactical real time strategy title. If you liked Syrian Warfare you will like this one too.

Dude this game is the ♥♥♥♥ i love it!!!!!! Im a massive RTS fan i must say there are lots of pros and cons!
1.Gameplay 10/10
2.Voice Lines 5/10
3.Story and events 10/10
4.Humor 10/10
5.Squad managing and weapon details 11/10
This game easily beats Broken Arrow and many more!!
Some people will say stuff about propaganda but in my oppinion all countrys have it so please dont bring the game down because of stuff like that i think it fist perfectly to the games narrative! Inaddition the game isnt showing russia is the best or strongest but its showing that all sides are just as dangerous when it comes to combat its very unique and if you actually play the game in realistic mode you will genuinely feel the reality of the games combat and in fact see that your extremely outnumbered but the fact remains the game works perfectly and its realistic in most aspects!!!!
I would as if we could add a skirmish because im a massive skirmish fan or even a mode where you dominate diffrent parts of ukraine, i would ask if its also possible to play ukraine sice it would be nice to have some variety when on skirmishes!!!!!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK IM IN LOVE WITH THE GAME GIVE ME MORRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
10/10 GAME<3

I usually don't bother with strategy games since most of the newer ones are either too focused on multiplayer, thus lacking on the PvE front, or simply tedious to play due to their insane learning curve.
But this one turned out to be exactly my cup of tea, and not only thanks to its setting.
The game rewarding thinking outside the box - e.g. ambushing the squads of HUR in the first mission - levels of cover, various equipment, - including my favourite piece of infantry weaponry: thermobaric launchers - basically 1:1 environments to real life, award system and the detailed briefings via map between levels made the game especially memorable.
The funniest thing is that I would've probably never discovered the game if not for the online complaining of Ukrainians about it being allowed on Steam and their "boycotting campaign."
It's the ultimate irony of wanting to suppress something so much that it makes others interested in it, increasing its popularity in the long run, which is exactly what happened here.
So I really should say "thank you" to the Banderite who was whining about the release of Gostomel Heroes; you just gave me a great game to enjoy! ;))
