Really solid poker game with a very likeable cast and funny interactions. TF2 items aside, this is a great game to sink a good amount of time to 100% the game. All for only 10 bucks too.

Certainly a fun experience for the first few hours, but questionable plays from the AI, along with some frustrating and predictable draws, particularly on the hard difficulty setting make the game feel rigged and kill a lot of the long-term fun. This is a re-release of the 2010 original that was previously delisted and removed from sale back in 2019. It's been visually remastered and is fairly well-presented. The original characters of Max, Strong Bad, Tycho, and The Heavy are all here along with their impressive and vast table interactions. However, every match soon feels rigged and random. On the hardest difficulty setting, you will be lucky to flop top pair and the AI will make some crazy calls and all-in moves. I've also lost count of the amount of times I have lost to running cards on the turn and river. The game is also pretty threadbare. It's the same characters in the same seats at the same venue. You can unlock different tables and decks plus your all-time stats are retained, but there is really no long-term grind to work towards or shift in gameplay. Whilst it's great to see the game make a comeback which may lead to a remaster of the sequel and maybe even a new game, this one hasn't really aged well. Frustrating RNG, diabolical AI plays and a lack of content make this a hard sell even for poker fanatics.

Poker Night at the Inventory lets you play No Limit Texas Hold'em with an unforgettable cast of iconic characters from a handful of cult classic franchises, complete with all of the humor and banter you'd expect from these individuals sharing a table together. You can adjust the "chattiness" of the participants for more or less table talk, all of which has excellent voice acting. The whole game has an undeniable cozy charm to it and nowhere makes it more apparent than in the underground game room of The Inventory. Additionally, there are a handful of items you can win in this game that can be used in TF2.

I finally now know how to play Texas Hold 'Em. This is a fun, straightforward poker game with unlocks not only for TF2 but within the game itself. Dialogue from the characters is amusing and spontaneous (although you can skip it if you choose). The designers did a great job creating an interesting speakeasy/hideaway environment; that is, The Inventory. Learn to play poker and win shutter-shades for Demoman, among other things.

Super simple but a lot of fun. Just glad to see this game saved from oblivion. Hopefully the sequels will follow.

A good way to relax and play poker with little to no stakes while having fun with videogame pop culture leading into 2010. younger folks may not get the references

I have only had this game for a few hours and it's already one of my favorite steam games now. For a poker game in general I think it's pretty good. The only other poker game I have played is the Luigi poker on the DS lol
