A compelling indie platformer where you have to balance various resources to traverse massive gaps. Double jumps, boost gauge, etc. All of that only refills upon touching the ground, or round objects floating. So you have to judge your distance carefully while making the correct calls of where to land and how to move efficiently. And the game builds upon its admittedly simple mechanics and level design concepts in clever ways so that each stage feels unique. Admittedly, I've had this in my library for around two years and struggled to start it due to the rough Unreal Engine visuals and bad UX. But after looking for something light on story to play while listening to Youtube today, I gave the game a firm chance and really ended up liking it. I think it truly proves that nailing the bare essentials and having good ideas is what matters most. Looking forward to the next game. I'll likely replay several times too.
