Unfortunately, most people seem to be forgetting that the DLC also adds a mug for your cabin. So for that reason, I must 100% recommend it.

I love the game and franchise but I'm giving this dlc a big fat thumbs down because of the false advertising: you DO NOT GET 5 trailers. The Food Cistern and Low Boy are not included, despite explicit claims otherwise. The three trailers that actually do make it in are quite lovely, but I never would have bought them if I knew going in that the other trailers were missing.
EDIT: ok, so the dev's came in and decided that I had a point and modified the dlc store page description to reflect my concerns, clarifying the fact that while the 2 trailers (Food Cistern & Low Boy) are actually in game and usable from the Freight menu they are NOT ownable by the player, which the store page description clearly implied.
Since my complaint was never that they were not ownable, and instead took issue with the fact that it implied that they were, I have modified the review from "negative" to positive to reflect the dev's changes. As I said in the first part of the review the actual trailers that you DO get to own are quite lovely and well modeled, and apparently the missing trailers will arrive some day.

I have never once seen a Schwarzmüller trailer here in Denmark (we have a lot of Krone and Schmidt trailers here along with a few other local/small brands), but these models do look nice.
All the trailers in this DLC are very high quality and for the most part have more customization options than you get with the Krone trailers, and that alone I think make them more worthwhile. They also look much more polished than the no-name trailers in the game and are easily noticed in the regular traffic.
With update 1.35 you can now buy some of the Schwarzmüller trailers for your garages - only the platform (aka curtainside), reefer (fridge), and movable post (for lumber/pipes) for now, but SCS have hinted that more of the trailers will be purchasable in future updates. Should however be noted that neither of these trailers are available in any of the double-trailer configurations.

It's a great DLC, but with the 1.32 update its almost useless since many people will just buy customised trailers in game, if you could customise the box trailers it'd be worth it

Not supported for Multiplayer yet so turn it off on MP otherwise it causes other player's games to crash.
Excellent high detailled trailer pack, but ofcourse the purpose of this DLC is to promote the Schwarzmüller's company as the partnership between ETS2 and Schwarzmüller is convincing. Others to come in the future such as Catterpillar (ATS and/or ETS2), Wilson (ATS) and Schmitz (ETS)..?

probably SCSs worst DLC for ETS2...only 3 ownable bland trailers with not many options and the price is actually quiet steep compared to other paint job dlcs etc. I think ETS2 is brilliant with brilliant updates and content with great developers but this imho is not one of SCS's better moments unfortunately.

The trailers are okay at best. The new trailers is nice but there is even less customisation to be done to these than the normal ones. I really enjoy customising my trucks with matching trailers. There were a few cool parts included such as some of the tail light options but other than that there really wasn't much else to it.
I give it 4/10.

Not my first go to DLC if I were new to this game, I would go for an map pack first and this would be not the last but certainly one of the last DLCs I'd buy. It is well made, high quality textures and models as always from SCS. I am biased though, I buy everything SCS releases.

I personally like this DLC. More trailers to pull the better according to me.
To boil it down, there are 5 trailers in total. Are they new? Yes and no. They don't bring in any new type of tailer, simply adding 5 alternative versions of already existing types of trailers. I think they look better than the ones that were shipped with the game. Small details make a huge difference, at least for me. Like the reflective outline of the sides of the box-trailers which is a must on todays trailers.
They should have gone with a slightly lower pricetag, because while they are new models, they don't add anything really new. So it should be priced as a repaint pack, 0,99 or 1,99 EUR.
Pros
- They look great
- They come with a livery for all (or most at least) the ingame companies
- Official DLC, patches won't break compability
Cons
- Mods can add these things for free
- Only 5 types trailers.
- Pricetag
But at the end of the line, I recommend this product. It's fairly cheap and it's a good way to support SCS even more. But I think it comes down to this. Do your use mods? If so, then maybe skip this one and get some free trailer pack mod instead. I personally don't use mods which is probably why I got this product and why I like it.
