FROM THE MOMENT I UNDERSTOOD THE WEAKNESS OF MY FLESH..
IT DISGUSTED ME..
I CRAVED THE STRENGTH AND CERTANITY OF STEEL.
I ASPIRED TO THE PURITY OF THE BLESSED MACHINE.
YOUR KIND CLING TO YOUR FLESH, AS IF IT WILL NOT DECAY AND FAIL YOU..
ONE DAY THE CRUDE BIOMASS THAT YOU CALL THE TEMPLE WILL WITHER, AND YOU WILL BEG MY KIND TO SAVE YOU,
BUT
I
AM
ALREADY
SAVED.
FOR THE MACHINE IS - IMMORTAL!

I recommend this highly, but there are some huge flaws with how GW is handling this DLC system. Here is my honest opinion:
Please, I bet of you make it so I can use the pieces from the champion for my character.
I know it's a no-brainer but I want to give an example:
1. Let's say I could play as Calgar, and it was part of an Ultramarine DLC Cosmetic Pack.
2. I can change some things, maybe the color or parts, but can't make him a Techpriest, because it's Marneus, and this is simply because he is a special character, or whatever reason.
3. Most likely, I wouldn't be able to use his different limbs as parts to make a character/aesthetic due to the horrific abortion of random parts and colors.
3. Those aesthetics are further boiled down, most likely I can't give him chaos or traitor insignia on his armor, and probably a lot of armor choices would be limited to that character.
4. This has been a practice with bonus characters and DLC for basically 20+ years at this point. And this being said, you would still be ABLE TO CUSTOMISE THE CHARACTER
All of that being said: This is not the case with this "champion costume", and from to my knowledge any champion costume. Isn't this the reason why we can't play as Titus in multiplayer mode? I should at least be able to change the decals and colors. (For example: Dawn of War armies with their customization, you could change the color of characters). They aren't a specific character from anything I've noticed. It's just a skin you can't customize. Which I could see doing this with the strange creepy Blood Angel champion face..... But not cool cybernetic stuff in WH40k. Let us use this to make our guys look cool!!! COME ON!!!!!
I should be able to make my champion at least a variation of the colors I like to use. Why can't I make him bronze or green? He still is an Iron Hand. Just as background, I play WH40k on tabletop and this has never really been a forced rule. It's one thing if you paint your Ultramarines Red, or your Blood Angels Blue; that could be confusing. But it was always part of the fun of WH40k to be able to paint your champion however you wanted (within reason).
I hope in the future, Games Workshop don't make things so limited with their options, they have an amazing thing going here. I think if they'd like in the future to just release huge cosmetic packs and let you pick whatever colors you want, and then have tons of presets, it could be cool.
Final note: I grew up on my favorite games being ones where you could make your own character. I think this is such a huge step for GW. I have been into WH40K for over 20 years as a hobbyist/painter/gamer. Just sell us a giant pack of easily accessible aesthetics to play around with! You'll make a lot of money and we'll be happy, and if not we'll let you know, I promise you that!
TL:DR Make it all available after purchase, and stop limiting arbitrary things like color choices and armor sets that can't be customized. This is Warhammer, Warhammer has always been about custom aesthetics, with tons of fun options. I'd probably buy all of the armor sets if it's wasn't such a pain in my anus. Just sell us a giant pack of easily accessible aesthetics to play around with!

dont mind these babys crying at the game in a DLC chapter pack? for some reason, anyways this pack is really good it has a good helmet a pauldron a good arm, all prosthetic of course, heavy and assault can use all but legs, bulwark tactical and techmarine can use all armor parts, vanguard and sniper cant use breast plate nor legs they can only use pauldrons and hands, overall rating for myself is 8/10 and maybe 6/10 for anyone who isnt a fan of this chapter or if you wanted prosthetic legs/arms but it didnt work it.
