good game, but not too difficult. There some problem in Armory which is lack of responsive. When I try to click on locked thing, no message show, try to clicked on equipped gun, no shop page show, click on Gun I don't have cash to buy, nothing response. That may be annoying because it seem like thing not work well.

Nah, nope it is not worth your time. better off playing a flash game off a cheap website. nope. you can beat the entire game by using your knife ONLY. The knife kills mobs in two hits while ur machine gun takes seven shots. This game is a joke. If ur seriously considering to purchase this game please understand it is extremely linear and is a half excuse of a game. Do yourself a favor and purchase one of the metal slug series games.

+ I like the artwork (characters, enemies and weapons). - The gameplay is very repetitive and not in a fun way that keeps it interesting for me. - The sounds of enemies getting hurt or dying could use some variety in my opinion. - In story mode, the second boss has a hit detection system that will make you bleed when you're not even close to him anymore. - The menu interface is buggy and will crash easily, or at least it does on my computer. Note: The game didn't log my playing time properly; I played for about an hour, not the five minutes Steam logged.

I bought the Burgers game on special as an "el cheapo" game; just as well, because you wouldn't want to pay much for it. It's a boring shooting/fighting game, scrolling left to right, 2D. I would have described it as a "boring shooting game", but you run out of bullets quite quickly, and have to resort to your knife. I made it up to the end of level 4. Fought the boss with bullets, grenades, flamethrower, and laser - until no ammo was left for any of the weapons; carried on with my knife, fighting the boss when my health bar was up (and spending ages running around in circles, waiting for my health to creep up so I could attack him again), but the boss stayed on full health. What a waste of time. [I read another review, which said that the level 5 boss stayed on full health - so, that player had a similar problem.] For the first levels, just run left to right, avoiding the enemy - or shoot as well, if you want to. For other levels, conserve your ammo, and shoot the barrels of fuel when a mob of monsters are close. Use your knife against the monsters, then wait (or run away) until your health bar fills up. Save your bullets and grenades for the level boss. Not the worst game ever, but it is a waste of time. Not impressive, even as an "el cheapo" game.

great little game.. would have been nice with a longer game play. but for the money asked, I can't complain all that much. the artwork is simple, but pleasant to look at. great little game, short, but I had fun. fairly idiot proof game side scroller if you apply common sense. I've read some of the reviews and honestly can't see their complaints, for one thing, I was swimming in ammo. if you don't have an itch in your trigger finger and blindlessly firing at everything, you will have plenty of ammo. you're not meant to finish the game with default weapons, they simply don't do enough damage later on. even if you're able to avoid the normal enemies and gun everyone down, the bosses has waay too much health for your default guns to have much effect. and by the time the default weaponry was insufficient, I had about 4000 cash, and with a respective level. I decided to get myself a new pistol and a sniper rifle (which had "ultimate damage".) this was sufficient to complete the game. and as a one player setup diffeculty, it was fairly easy. charge forward, encounter enemy, fire, retreat for ½ second, turn around, fire, retreat for ½ second, turn around, fire.. easy approach + devastating. most enemies only needed 1 shot from my sniper, some took 2. didn't really use the pistol. at the various levels, there are wooden boxes which may contain ammo. also barrels which will explode if you put a few holes in them. a bit sad that this is amount of shots fired at them, and not damage done. my default pistol took 2 rounds to destroy a barrel, causing a lot of damage to the enemies in range. my sniper with ultimate damage also took 2 rounds to destroy the barrels. even though there is at least 100% damage difference between the two weapons.

I'm giving this game a tenative positive review given that it's still in Early Access like so many products on STEAM. In it's current state the game is like a horizontal as opposed to vertical scrolling version of Ikari Warriors (for those who have played that, if you have you are officially *OLD*). It's functional but a bit basic where you wind up switching between a pistol, machine gun, and grenades to kill waves of identical looking enemies while occasionally popping an explosive barrel. The game truely needs more enemy variety in this state but I can only hope that is coming. Premise-wise the game has you playing as a "German Soldier" in WW II, coveyed in the modern reinventionalist stance popular with Japan that is trying to seperate this from the Nazis. While playing a Nazi in a heroic context outside of the historical war could be thought provoking, and I think the world is ready for that, this is not the game to do it. The plot has very little to do with the war as a whole and your killing monsters for the most part. The only part of the game that some might find disturbing in this context from what I've seen is the first level where all of the bad guys have pronounced noses (a sort of Jewish stereotype) where the main character your playing has no real nose at all. Some may read into this, but it's never explicitly stated who your fighting, just people of this village where wierd stuff happens before the aliens and giant spiders show up. To be fair if they never specified your playing as a German soldier and armed you with vintage WW II weaponry there would be nothing even remotely controversial about this. There isn't anything offensive here, as the game seems to be intentionally walking the fence, as far as I've seen the Devs are correct and there isn't even a single swatstika on display though given the fanaticism that caused WW II I'd find it hard to believe anyone trusted with a special mission as this seems to be wouldn't be a loyalist of the National Socialist party, which of course doesn't mean someone is neccesarily a genocidal maniac (it being a workers rights movement by and large which got derailed by the leadership). Even if one argues for what would be a rare exception you'd at least be dealing with an ultra-nationalist in the military. But as I said this goes well beyond the context of what I've seen in the game. With some work "Burgers" could be good, but it lacks the charm or quality of "Castle Crashers" so far, but it could get there and become a shooter version. Shorter levels, more enemy variety, more background scenery to give it personality, etc... and this could very well turn into a great little game.

Despite having a stupid name, this game has a good idea but unfortunately falls flat in execution. The story sounds pretty cool: 'a small group of German soldiers are sent to a small town to investigate strange activities. The story writes itself as they face off against monsters, aliens and other baddies.' From the sounds of it, this could've been a good good shoot 'em eup with zombies and guns. The sour note however, is that this game falls at even being playable in the slightest. The controls are terrible and hardly responsive, you constantly run out of ammo/ grenades considering that the baddies are bullet sponges. "Burgers" also goes so far as to not allow you to USE your knife. O_o What kind of black magic is this? Its as if this game wa made to enrage gamers, instead of entertain them. Burgers are supposed to be tasty. They're not supposed to taste like rotting zombie flesh. The game also has challenges that add some other gameplay aspects that are good but not used well at all some examples are some sci-fi upgrades, a mech-suit and other weapons. And its due to bad controls. With this in mind, leveling up your character, and decent graphics don't do the game justice. If gameplay hardly has any redeemable quality, like with what this game has; then its safe to safe to say that this game was rushed, instead of developed. I doubt the developers even tested this game. It's a shame that this game blows like the wind, and it could've been fun, if it spent more time in development. 1/10

I've only played solo so far but this is a cool little game, it can get repetitive after a while but it's definitely an enjoyable game with a decent story as far as I've played. Pros: Fun Cheap Controller support for in game (doesn't work for menu) Simply check controls mid game Funny voice over when you chuck a grenade Cons: You have to join a story server which is weird You can only upgrade weapons and things by quitting to the main menu Levels feel too long for this sort of game Don't earn enough money to get good upgrades and better weapons early on Just a quick written review but here's some gameplay if you're interested in the game but can't decide if you want to buy it or not: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWsPGem4-TI (WARNING: Video may contain spoilers)

Simple Side Scroller, Bullet Dodging. Charge, hold the line and tower defense type of game. Easy with a bit of grinding in the beginning, enough coins for a max damage sniper rifle and some topup customize of character built. Cranky controls, unable to allocate keys despite given the choice in menu. Was alright. Easy achievements targets. Cheap and Short game, played and forgotten.
