a simple fun game , has the top gun story + top gun soundtracks + great selection of fighters,missiles. only downside is probably dead multiplayer and steep requirements [512mb gfx card] :X

This is an excellent game for anyone that wants to get into some 3d air combat. Sure this is far from simulation and is pure Arcade 3d air combat, but it is great. It follows and alternates the Top Gun Movie story. The gameplay is fun, I beat the game wanting more.
It is actually pretty responsive with the controller, (Dissappointment does not use the flight stick, or atleast recognize mine Thrustmaster Hotas X) But it does well enough with a wired 360 controller.
The graphics are meh, but the gameplay is fantastic, and the Music is a plus lol. (extremely inspired by the movie)
Sure there are more hardcore Arcade fighter pilot games out there like HAWX, but this is great game in its own right!
Overall you have 6 aircraft to choose from (not all unlocked at first) I could be wrong on this.
For $10 I say its worth it, but if you happen to find it on sale, I highly suggest you try it out if you liked either the Top Gun movie, or any light aircombat game!

The game is great when I can play it. Unfortunately, it no longer loads up for me. The only way to play it is by uninstalling and reinstalling it and If I'm lucky I get one mission in. Really sad this game has become worthless garbage.
