The first in the series, so it is a big rough around the edges. It has the least amount of levels, so the content is quite there. It also lacks Diagonal Macro Buttons which makes it incredibly frustrating to play. Pair that with some insane level design (and bosses) it is very difficult, even for a veteran of the series.
It's still fun though to see where it all started and there is a unique vibe to it that the others don't have. I think it lacks a lot of QoL that the later installments in the series has that it makes it hard for me to enjoy as much, but still a solid game.
