Awesome DLC’s… Please note that this Review may contain spoilers from the Base game Some key points that this game add on has to offer: 1. Three new Skirmish missions. 2. New Dragon Enemy Types. 3. Three new maps. 4. Dark comedic humour. 5. 10 Hours of new content. Replayability: This DLC adds a new mini campaign mode to the game in the form of three Skirmish missions, all of which can be replayed under new difficulties or endless mode should you wish to. MGR Gaming’s Conclusions: Smog has invaded the world of Dungeons and it is up to you to go forth and exterminate him and his army of dragons… Dungeons 2 - A Chance of Dragons is a neat little add on to the game of Dungeons 2. It is full of lore and references from other fantasy creations. The three new maps leave plenty of room for thrill and excitement as you explore it to find enemies to bash. The new dragon enemy types were created beautifully; their movement and character models resemble dragons quite remarkably. When it comes down to the numbers this little DLC is quite the winner. Some narration regarding the mission of the chosen scenario would have added more of a Dungeon feel to the game, or at least to add to what the base game was like. Pretty boring set. There is a completely different game design here and there is nothing for which I liked the original game. By the way, you are not allowed to have dragons.

As much as I love this game, as well as the other DLCs, this one I cannot recommend. The dragons are a pain to deal with, especially if you find them early on. I discovered a dragon cave by accident in my dungeon, and because they saw one of my creatures, they just rushed my throne room and killed my entire army in 12 seconds. It's not even like they are hard but manageable, finding a dragon cave early = just restart. It pretty much ruins the experience of the game.

I was hoping to play WITH dragons, but no this add on only add 3 new maps with new enemies, sure you fight some dragons, but I would have love to PLAY and control dragons with this! Could have been a nice new thing!

Just like my previous reviews of this game, the single player is a lot of fun, it’s campy and entertaining. However, also like the main game, I wish multiplayer allowed for computer opponents. In other games, I enjoy teaming up with friends to fight an AI team. We find it more fun to work as a team then try and kill each other. However you can’t do that, you can only play vs other people. So my girlfriend won’t play with me, lol

Good simply if you want more skirmish maps to play on. However, if you feel you already had your fill of the game, I'd wait for something much more substantial like an expansion that has been hinted at.
