Yeah, this is about what I hoped for/expected from the experience. If you're already here thinking about picking up the game, I'd say you should just go for it.

I wish I could give this a 'recommended', but I can't because of the technical issues. There was lag on the text and the screen would often freeze and crash. My computer was easily capable of playing the first game so I'm not sure what went wrong here. I bought this game a long time ago and only played it recently so it's possible the 'Dove Actually' version fixes these issues, but I didn't want to buy the game again.
As for the content. It is a good showcase of the original characters, but has very few choices. The main character is stuck on a Nageki route romantically over the main story, and the only place in the game you can spend time with a different bird (one of the short side stories) you can't insert your own player name.
