As good as this game is, I would NOT recommend this game to anyone looking for a peaceful game play. It's overrun with hackers and the admins are useless with helping. They say they're short staffed but they get 100s of applications everyday and ignore ALL of them. It's a fun game if you stay off the official server and in small servers, because the large servers can have up to 3+ hackers at one time. If you're willing to spend 10+ hours growing a dino for the fun of it, be ready to loose it to a hacker and for the admins to say you don't have enough evidence. If you submit a video of you dying to the hacker, they will tell you that it's not enough evidence, and when you try to give more, they will just ban you because you're asking them to do their damn job. One all, it's fun, of the admin of lazy ahh loosers that love to power trip and complain. Worth it if you've got a small friend group to play with and if you're willing to see hardly anyone else. GOOD LUCK getting this game, I WISH you luck!

Dont be fooled by the positive reviews. They are reviews from a time when this game thrived. Its just full of cheaters and sweats who will kill you instantly without you even seeing them, that plus people griefing and trolling just because they think its funny. The devs of this game couldn't care less about it. It has its good moments but the bad far outweighs the good.

If you are interested in dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures, you should definitely check this game out. You just need to find a good server and I'm sure you will have fun.

could be fun if the devs cared. seems like they want to keep adding content instead of fixing what they have even though its completely unplayable for some dinosaurs. i posted on the official isle discord to complain about the problems im having with the game, instantly got banned. don't trust these devs, they don't care about their customers, and go a step further to silence any criticism they get.

Horrible experience Play Carnivore, no food at all, nothing to find, no AI to kill, everything else kills you in one shot Play Herbivore, find SPECIFIC PLANT to eat, only spawns after a million years of you standing in the area, and after you ate a specific item the game never tells you to Incredibly HORRIBLE for a new player, even after reading multiple guides, watching videos, and trying to find what to do and tell my friends how to play, the game feels horrible Horrible experience Horrible game Horrible Mechanics No wonder people keep slandering the devs on the reviews, this is horrendous

Overall, if they can fix the beta access errors when launching, the dx12 errors, this game could esily beat out Path of Titans. Legacy is fun, on certain servers, and im enjoying Envrima official and unofficial servers. I'd love to see a single player oriented survival mode some day.

To start with, I do love this game (The Evrima version) otherwise I wouldn't have invested hundreds of hours into it but a lot of that is playing with friends, which makes this survival horror game and its many many bugs and issues a lot more fun/tolerable. The good: Fun Semi realistic game play Lovely scenery Visually very appealing Good mechanics Easy to sink hours into Can meet many decent people The bad, and the reasons I don't recommend this for new players: Extremely buggy God awful hitboxes/hit registration on a lot of the Dinosaurs Bone-idle Admins (on Official Servers) who appear to like having the admin badge but not wanting to actually do any admin work, when challenged its always 'We are volunteers, we do this in our free time'. Which maybe true BUT if you can't handle the responsibility you signed up for then you shouldn't be an admin in my opinion Due to the lack of activism from admins (on Officials) the hackers are absolutely ripe in this game to the point where the same hacker can be reported IN THE SAME SERVER for more than 8 hours and still not be delt with, so if you've spent 9+ of your life growing something like a Stegosaurus or a Triceratops only to have it die to a hacker or bug, you aren't getting a regrow. On the subject of Officials Admins, they take absolutely forever to deal with/review bans/mutes in the Official Isle Discord There's no tutorial for this game, which can be extremely off putting to people who are new to this genre of game All in all, the game, for being 'Early Access' is really good, my main reason for NOT recommending this game is because I, as well as many others are absolutely sick to death of the hacker problem, bugs we can condone but the hackers in this game and the lack of competence to deal with them, i.e more/better admins and certainly a better Anti Cheat is ridiculous because what the game has now very clearly isn't working. If it were 1 or 2 hackers then we'd understand, but it's not, there are hundreds of them

They released a patch months ago that broke fish and wildlife spawns, and they still haven't fixed it. Clown devs.

Starving simulator. Fuck the devs, bunch of cunts. Hope someone buys them out so they can fuck off and someone competent takes over this project.

Will not recommend this game. There are so many cheaters/hackers in the game. if you tell admins about it in the discord. They dont ban the cheater or spectate the person to check whether they are cheating or not instead they remove your messages so people cant read it and keep buying the game. Just recently on the EU11 server, a small Cerato somehow killed 7 fully grown dinos in the same area. That’s clearly not normal gameplay and should have raised a red flag immediately. I reported it to the admins, hoping they would take a minute to spectate and see what was happening, but nothing was done. To help others avoid the same situation, I shared the cheater’s location in chat so players could log out safely. Instead of stopping the cheater, the admins muted me. Meanwhile, about 15 minutes later, that same cheater killed another group of fully grown players. So not only was the cheater ignored, but the one trying to warn others got punished. What’s really surprising is that the cheater is still on the loose. It’s been days, and nothing has been done. Is the cheater more powerful than the admins now? Because that’s how it feels. I spent 8 hours growing my dinosaur 4–5 times, only to be killed in one hit by a small baby cheater dinosaur. I provided all the proof — including videos and chat logs — yet received no response from the admin team, let alone any regrows. Waste of time. They have zero VALUE for their CUSTOMERS. Game is good. a decent story - Poor Admin Team - Poor Management.
