yaknow, i think a lot of this games criticisms are fair, and the ubislop launcher is still shit, and if you've not logged on to a ubisoft account hub on your computer it defaults to an outdated version of the launcher and makes you wonder why your account doesn't work for months on end (based on a true story), but i'm not here for that it's a 3 platform cross compatible arcade racer with a track builder, native splitscreen on all platforms (even PC and even with dissimilar input devices, which i don't think i've seen before), and a funky soundtrack. the racing is solid, and you pay once, not monthly like trackmania 2020. if that sounds cool for you, grab it on sale, 50 bucks (CAD) is still a bit much for a nearly 10 year old game.

Actually a decent game if you only want to do Singleplayer + medal ranks. Nice graphics, interesting and detailed scenery, good optimization. 4 completely different environments to choose from. Enjoyable high speed feeling and drifting. Vehicle control seems a little awkward at first, but can be learned quickly. Game vibe is chilling on spot, but not as good as in TM United. More festivalish like Forza Horizon. Level Editor is kind of restricted compared to PC originated Trackmanias (this is a console port). But it has random track generation, which is an awesome and unique feature! Cons: Multiplayer is bad Campaign: you have to complete 10 maps of the same environment to unlock sets with a different one each time, which can be boring Has a VR mode but it is terrible, more like a "we can do this too" No updates, abandoned game 8/10
