DONT BUY THIS. i bought it in feb 2015 didnt leave a review because it is very broken. In the past year and a bit there have been zero fixes or updates. another poster had worked out the -y forward will allow meshes to stand upright, but even still program crashes when you tell it to rig, thats not enough for me to recommend it. learn blender rigging, its free and an online tutorial will have you rigging basic meshes in minutes.

This software sucks , it crashes with a runtime error upon importing mesh, at which point clicking conitnue or retry render the software non-responsive , then closes it down completley. What the software was suppose to do was a great idea, however the fact that it crashes and doesn't do what it is suppose to, makes it a waste of money. Your best off to use a software called fragmotion, it does the same thing, however it does require an extra step (renaming some skeleton parts) which is easy to do , but it is free to use, not to mention it does what is intended of it.

Hmm,
obj import works 1 File of 10 (several origins 3dcoat, silo2, sculptris) ... crashes... no error messages with a hint ...
The video to 90% shows other Software not RigIT.
A shame they didn't exportet some riggs to bvh from blender to include them, but possible they did not work
generally because i get not a single Model rigged ... crashes... no error messages with a hint ...
I tryed also the Homepage ... also a shame ... an clever developer puts one working model + rig into his software so that the customer think he made the mistake :) ... This Software is a pre early access, sorry.

It works. Only problem I had was that when exporting from blender, selecting forward "-Z" as the guide suggests, the characters where laid and the rigging failed crashing the program. My solution: exporting the objs from blender selecting forward "-Y" solved the problem, program wont crash, and rigged ok :) Thanks BANO!
Oh, I almost forgot an important thing: as the guide suggests, you have to pass your obj meshes to blender to make the cleaning. When I used the meshes directly as they come from Fuse or even downloaded meshes, these won't work. After the cleaning in blender, rigging them was a breeze.

DO NOT BUY THIS SOFTWARE. IT DOES NOT WORK. GO BUY THAT BIG MAC MEAL YOU WANT FOR THE MONEY, IT WILL SATISFY YOU MORE.
No, I really mean it. This has to be the biggest pile of steam I've ever seen on Steam. How the fuck did this even get past the review board? It does not work as described, in fact it does not work at all.
Orientation of your model makes f*ck all difference as mentioned below in the comment.
I've been using blender for over 4 years, I can rig and skin a mesh manually. I have been using 3D modelling software/CAD for well over 25 years - I am not a noob let's put it that way. This program will not load any OBJ files I throw at it, no matter how low poly or simplistic - not one single mesh file has loaded properly (either a black/white checker and a hung program) or it just outright crashes.
Whether it's one of my meshes or one I download, from anywhere .. anything over 1mb crashes the program. Even a 300k simple human plain body mesh crashes it sometimes.
Bottom line - I CANNOT DO ONE THING that you see in the demo video other than open the program, which has absolutely no settings and a bare bones menu with hardly any options besides import, export and exit.
I bought this program to hopefully cut down on some of my workload, stop having to rig fingers and all that crap - something to do the monotonous work as this was advertised - but no... all it has done as cost me a regular Big Mac meal combo and some lost hair. From the reviews on the product I know I am not the only one having these issues.
