A solid, low-spec second-monitor game if you just want to watch numbers go up. It’s an idle tower defense that delivers a quick incremental dopamine rush with a massive achievement farm and a decent prestige grind. The UI is definitely scuffed and text boxes clip, but for the price of a cheap coffee, it’s a cozy, nostalgic Flash-game style auto-battler. Perfect to leave running in the background while you do something else.

The game is quite satisfying for its genre. There is a good amount of variety in enemies, units, defenses, and upgrades. The only thing I would ask of the developer is to improve the UI a little. I also liked the music, it adds nicely to the medieval atmosphere.

I tried liking this game, but at the launch of this game I can't recommend it. The good: - The game is only €5,- (3 on sale) - The music is great - Numbers go up at a nice increment. - the art style looks clean, if you've got time to look at it - Unlocked like 80 of 100 achievements in 2 hours, great for some quick dopamine - Sheep! The Bad: - The UI is very clunky, it feels like it was only made for one specific resolution, while I like to play my games fullscreen. There are a lot of unnecessary tooltips that keep reappearing in your screen, and some text does not fit in the boxes. - the icons are not clear indicators of what everything does, especially the buttons on the left side. - The game needs a guide. You get every tip explained exactly once, and if you didnt pay attention or forgot what something does, there seems to be no way to retrieve that information. - There is too much going on on the battlefield. You have the archers shooting, your own units running around, enemy units, and spells. I cant even see what spell is triggering in the fastest mode. - There is no way to lose, you just press some buttons and numbers go up. Maybe in the late game it might matter what spells you use, what units you build and in what formation you position them, but for now nothing sees to matter. - I tried every combination but I cant seem to unlock the last spell combo. - After prestieging I unlocked some steam achievements that I definately did in my first run. - There is no Pause button, If you would ever want to see what is going on, or you want to change tactics, you need to be quick. - where the hell are the guys in their boats going to? valhalla? TLDR: for €3,- you might like this, but it feels like an old flash browser game from 2006. I might revisit the game in a year if there have been some qol updates.

The game was selling itself as an RTS and just before launch it became a clanky Tower Defence game. The interface is bad, the condition to unlock spells doesn't work in my language, I still cannot understand why I could just let all the mobs pass my defense and not lose, a 100h achievement when I almost unlocked all the others in 2h.... Honestly, I would not have been so harsh with it if I was not feeling scammed by the completely u-turn before the launch of the game but it feels like the game has tried to disguise itself into something better to increase its wishlist before launch.

ver 1.09: Now soldiers can fall into the water and drown, so you need to be much That's one of their update posts. I didn't cut anything off, it is just an incomplete sentence. The dev doesn't seem to be taking any care to their updates if they're not even finishing their sentences on update posts. I don't imagine they'll bother playtesting if they don't even proofread.
