i think the amount of people that come in to the arcade should be fixed as I almost have full popularity and I still dont get enough people coming in

I really liked this game. Ive played a lot of store simulator games and this one is fun. It is early access still so keep in mind that it still needs some work. But the concept is amazing and I had a blast with this one. Definitely worth $5!

This game has a unique game loop from many of the other shop sims out right now. This makes it somewhat refreshing and works with the theme of the game. As to how it plays imagine a Dave and Busters or a chuck E Cheese without the stage and pizza. The guests play games to earn tickets and then come to you at the counter to redeem for prizes you try and keep stocked. You then have to makes sure the prize games have prizes, the prize wall has stock for people to trade in, and You need to collect coins from the machines so the machines don't get backed up with coins.
The Dev has been fairly responsive in the steam forums and has already worked to correct most of the concerns with the game. For instance on day 4 your daily rent seems to take a dramatic jump up. It turns out that was just a textual bug and rent doesn't actually go up that much. Another critique he changes was the price of the coin bag. In the game you collect coins from the machine one per click. the money bag just grabs all the coins at once. The humor of getting one coins at a time kinda falls off after the first couple days and the money bag was insane expensive before but has been adjusted to be affordable earlier.
There i still some work to be done on the game. The controls need refinement. The method of stocking prizes needs looked at as right now it is overly onerous. More upgrade options and different kinds of machines would be nice. Also some little animation when they play a game, even if simple, would add quite a big. but for the price of 5 bucks I think its worth taking a look at if you like these kind of games or just like Retro gaming as the sound effects from the games are very spot on. As someone who grew up in the 80s many of these sounds and ingrained in my childhood memories so there is a bit of nostalgia for people like me as well.
tl'dr
Not perfect but worth $5 for fans of 80s gaming and shop sim games.
Zefpekiwez on Arcade Boss Simulator

Shop simulator gone awry
I have played for 61 minutes and I paid for my game!
I hate to crap on this game as I know it is not easy to make them. It is a shop simulator game that is onerous and frustrating in it's function and interaction. The players win so many prizes you cannot keep up. The games make so little money that you cannot get ahead. Then on the third day the landlord raises the rent something like 3000%. The door to the backroom is the worst part of the game. Trying to traverse through this portal is mind numbing. 5 items per box make it even more difficult to keep up, and the interaction with the crane game is not clear at all and very glitchy. Emptying coin bins is a task for the mindless, and I cannot imagine how long it will take to get the first upgrade. For a Pre-Release simulator, there are many better games to play for your $5. Maybe if this was free I could change my review.
