honestly my favourite AC game. The setting, parkour, DLCs and combat just feel great. I understand why people don't like it (the story is one of the worst) but its honestly the last good AC game ubi ever made.

I played this game on a different account for about 90 hours when it first released, and recently I decided to play it again for the nostalgia
This game sometimes shows its age, but it’s truly still a masterpiece of a game. The characters are interesting and very well-written, while the world-building is incredible. The game still looks beautiful for its age, and while I was playing this game sometimes I would climb to the top of a building and just sit there, looking down at industrial age London as orchestra music played. This is one of the best if not the best game in the Assassin’s Creed series in my opinion
10/10 game, especially for only $30. If you’re looking to get into some of the more classic Assassin’s Creed games, I HIGHLY recommend you play this one

About year ago I got platinums on EZIO collection, after that tried to get on AC3 an Black Flag, the game mechanics made me so mad that I ended that attempt with phrase "I will newer touch ANY of ubisoft games" because it is such unnecessary rage bait playing their games. So year passed, I gave another try, bought this "master piece", installed, got in the game and what did I get? Game just freezes on "press any button" :)) 3 tries and all end the same. Thank you ubisoft! I am not even in main menu and know exactly what I will get from you, Its like some warning "boy, just dont...".
Guys, if you want healthy nerve system, please, you hear me, PLEASE don't mess with ubisoft, it always end the same..

Found this game extremely boring. Loved Unity and was hoping for more of the same (but in London of course) but it's just lacking something. Throws you right into action without setting up any meaningful story, then you're just wandering London completing to-do lists. Yawn

One of the last best classic AC games, superb setting in old London town, good characters with some interesting history lessons added.

game not work after press click play. ubisoft connect mandatory. drm crap, this game is not at all playable on ubisoft fault and there are many complains of this game not working on steam forums. will never buy ubisoft games again. edit after tweaks: after googling and search steam community found a workaround to finally start game. then found an mod on nexus to skip annoying start screen ads and actually play game. story dislike, yes victorian age england, but after this you start seeing the rotten part and the worms inside the apple of this shady corporation self-called absterego. would not replay and not buy a remastered version. sorry but no sorry.

Regardless what other people say, this was one of my personal favorite Assassin's Creed games. The grappling hook was a warm welcome for me which made traversing easier especially across streets to other buildings so that you essentially never have to touch the ground. I also enjoyed the DLCs as well.
The graphics are pretty good along with the music.
Plenty of side activities to do including some detective cases/puzzles, races, gang warfare, and more which all fit within the setting of Victorian London.

It is extremely overlooked. I don't understand why so many people don't like it in the community. It is a masterpiece. I don't regret a single second of playing it.

the last proper assassin's creed game that has its own unique values, before the mediocre rpg series begin. However, the ubisoft connect launcher is suckass, sometimes i cant launch my game for no reason at all, but the game itself is definitely worth it if you buy on discount.

Completely unreasonable legal requirements in the EULA for any consumer in any market. The new EULA requires you to uninstall and completely destroy any copies, digital or otherwise, of any of there games that end support. I would not recommend anyone spend money on something with such legally binding requirements. I will not be playing any of their games until it is rewritten as not to bind myself to the requirement to destroy product I paid money to receive and use. This is, without a doubt, a completely unreasonable overreach that no reasonable person would knowingly agree to.
