The original review for this game made me cringe really hard. Updated version: Good plat-former, good music, and cute graphics. Famously made an appearance in Games Done Quick. Watch out Pong. Only issue is sometimes its too hard for its own good. 8/10

Prompt is good if you remember using computers back when the UI of this game was (more or less, minus some nice effects) the UI of everything. If you're good at platform games and are agile with your WASD keys then this will keep you occupied probably for a couple to a few hours. Is it worth the price? Depends if you like puzzle platformers, but if the game has caught your eye and you have a couple of hours to kill you could do a lot worse. At the end of the day it's less GBP than can be counted on one hand.

I tried the demo and the gamepad didn't work. I read the Discussion section on Steam and saw several players report that although their gamepad did not work in the demo either it did work in the full version of the game. So I bought the full version too, but I was not so lucky. My XBOX controller still refused to work with this game. I hate playing platformers with the keyboard. So I got a refund.

This platformer has some well built physics. Already, that's a good plus. It is essential to turn OFF the various screen filters in order to see wtf you're doing. To be honest, I dig the minimalist style WITHOUT all that crap that messes up your eyesight. The feeling is just too forced. Another aesthetic plus is the music by 4mat: it's better than good (though the tracklist is too limited). Overall though, this game is marred by inconsistent level design, and a dire lack of skill sequencing for the "hard" levels. I also couldn't get my Xbox controller to work for this game, and I suspect it would be better than keyboard controls. I really feel bad giving this game a negative review, but for $5 you can get better lo-fi platformers.

Morlan's shorts:

What you see up there? You like? Good, because that's the game. All of it! It's hard (well mostly), keyboard response is good which is needed, there are no graphics..well there are but you're reduced to a white-ish tiny pylon! The music is quite nice as well and the levels are well crafted and increasingly hard. I would appreciate a volume control but there's only on/off. It's quite a nice little game that will make you break a few keyboards or joysticks (if you're that weird) but it's fun! A bit pricey at it's default so maybe wait for a wee sale.. Now where's this guy's next game? Don't waste more time reading lengthy reviews.. time is of the essence!

This is a simple platformer with just a double jump, focused mostly on precise (sometimes pixel-perfect) movement. But it managed to show that this is not necessarily a bad thing. I like that the height of the jump can't be controlled (like it usually is by holding the button longer); there are surprisingly many small moments where you really have to think how to utilize such jumps. The retro aesthetics are quite nice but I turned off the effects for better competitive play. Music and sounds are good. ★★★★★★★☆☆☆

I like it - seems really fun so far. I would only wish the more of the ASCii character set was used for a real DOS/UNIX look like in the retro early-early 90's, 16:9 support would look approperate on my PC's monitor or TV. No loading issues or anything with my GTX980/i7 4930k. Also - custom refresh rates would serioustly be nice! (how does this work currently? Does it use system?) I have a 144hz with strobe support (BenQ XL2720Z) and platforms have that beautiful CRT feel when I can kick it to 144fps @ 144hz :D Defently worth $5 - should make a PS Vita port of this.

This game is hard in the best way possible. It's a great platformer and the levels are very well put together. The fake CRT screen refresh rate line was getting on my nerves after awhile. Great art style and very fluid controls. If you're a fan of platformers, I'd buy it at any price point, if you're on the fence, I'd wait till for a sale.
