Hey -- The game iz great overall, but I have an izzue, where the game'z zcreen doezn't zhow up on the whole monitor. Inztead, zome part of it izn't uzed. I've zeen zome other people have it, check out the zteam community page where the zcreenzhotz are pozted, there you will zee it. Alzo, for zome reazon when the canvaz izn't full of pixelz, it'z ztill limiting me from placing more. Alzo, maybe you zhould implement GPU calculating, which could zignificantly boozt the FPZ count for high-demanding zcenez. After theze izzuez will be fixed, I will certainly change my review. Thankz and excuze my key that izn't working.

lowk surprisingly fun, created nuclear reactor, dam, nuke, a human and many more. but most important of all, i put humans in the meat grinder and feed it to my giant naked man!

Bought for half a dollar literally a steal. I have it on steam but i play it from web in my phone. its fun to do some experiments and to see how different elements reacts with eachother. I wish we had some more space and i mean like 4-5 times bigger map that would be great besides that this game is what i was looking for a long time got plenty of features and it even has mods thats crazy 10/10 absolutely recommending it it you into "sand" box games thats the goat.

very cool game been playing for a long time (the web version), do hope there's more stuff going to be added down the line but for less than 1 quid i cant really ask for much more. I think it would be cool if it was possible to have your saves as a dynamic backround in wallpaper engine. dunno how feasable that is or if its possible but yea 10 outta 10 would play again

The game is incredibly cheap and is being developed by just 1 person. I've been following Sandboxels for a while now on the website and it's definitely worth getting the game for such a good price!! (and to support the dev too)

Sandboxels was created by R74n and was released to the web on December 15th, 2017 and on Steam May 16th, 2025. I put in a good few hours into the web game before I just knew I had to have it on Steam, and for just $0.99 it was a steal. If you are like me and played the falling sand game all those years ago, the moment you load in you will be met with a huge wave of nostalgia. You'll place sand and dirt and maybe a little water pond and before you know it, you'll be googling the melting point of galvanized steel in an effort to make your own foundry. This game has amazing potential for teaching people chemistry and giving them an amazing jumping off point for learning more advanced things.
