Beautiful but forgettable. It's a casual platformer. I don't know why it get's compared to Ori, it's nothing like it, but that's not why I am not recommending the game. The game really excels in the art and music department but falls flat on everything else which leads to a pretty average experience. You have four seasons to unlock and each changes the environment. As soon as you unlock the season they give you an easy demonstration to show what it does. For instance the winter flower makes a snowball that you can use to jump to higher ledges, but that is all it does; every other season it is inactive. So it becomes "Oh I see a winter flower I need to change seasons here" So it's not really a puzzle platformer either. It ends up being just a casual platformer. There's nothing wrong with that. You can just chill and enjoy the story not having to stress about anything. Enjoy the good art and music stress free. But they hide a good chunk of the backstory and the true ending behind a hidden collectable in each of the four zones which I think really was a huge mistake. As it doesn't fit with the casual nature of the game. Really I'm pretty neutral on the game. It's not bad at all. It's just just kind of "meh".

Beautiful game, I love it. Simple puzzles that would be great for anyone especially young children.

Platformer elements are clunky and don't have challenges at all, there are many repetitive puzzles and backtracking. But the game is too short to start to get boring. So if you like the visual style and would like to spend a couple of evenings on restful gameplay, then the game is your choice.

Lovely calm puzzle-platformer, with beautiful art and music. I've played it through, entirely, twice and it's truly a joy. The lack of any kind of map can make navigating the levels challenging at times, but you return to each level at least once, which helps build familiarity. The season-change mechanic is really fun (and pretty), and it all works together to tell a story that is bittersweet and thoughtful.

Seasons After Fall is a nice little game, a small piece of art. I liked both the graphic and audio aspects. The platforming sections are rather straightforward, and the entire game has rather cosy vibes.

It takes some time to get into it but it can pass. Despite being pretty short, it has a decent story and visuals.
