This is a short (around an hour) point and click hidden object game. It is based loosely on the life of Vincent Van Gogh and his artistic style in 5 short chapters. Each chapter begins with a vignette of Van Gogh's life and where he travelled. That is all the 'story' you get. Gameplay is mainly clicking on arrows on the border of the pages. You find Van Gogh and his voice bubble tells you what objects he wants you to find. These directives are very repetitive. He is accompanied by his faithful cat Star who might also give you some side quests to fulfil. Each chapter has about 6 to 8 paintings to scour. This game is a feast for the eyes with bright colourful scenes reminiscent of Van Gogh's artistic style. The devs have stated that they are partially AI generated and it shows. However I loved them!!! The hint is a light bulb in the top right hand corner of your screen. If it is not there, you know you have found all the items on that page. There is no pointing to where an item is. The downside that the other review has also pointed out is that there is no zoom feature. Items tend to blend in well with the background and smaller items like paintbrushes are particularly difficult to spot. I had to use my magnifying glass in desperation!! I had trouble seeing the arrows at times. I also found the music too loud despite turning it down. If you're looking for an easy, peaceful experience after other stressful games, this is just the game for you. Short, sweet and cheap!

(Review copied from the Munch game) I bought the collection of three games, and tried this one and the Munch title. I didn't play Newton as I figured it would have the same issues. The games are beautiful - the Van Gogh title especially has gorgeous vibrant colours in the various scenes. Unfortunately both the games I played had the same issue. They start out well enough, but very soon the items to search for become extremely difficult to find as they can be very small and blend into the background too much. As others have said, there is no real hint system - just a lightbulb to tell you there's still something to be found in that scene. There is no way to get help with actually finding the objects, and no way to skip the hunt and move on with the story. Maybe it's just my poor eyesight, but for me these games are too frustrating as I really can't find the things I need! Sadly I had to request a refund for the bundle, and can't recommend it due to the inability to skip or get proper help.
