I used to play Nitrome games with my friends all the time when I was a kid, found out they released this when looking for the original game's level theme. You were the king of flash games, and I'm happy to see your team is still involved with game development even though flash is practically extinct.
Game plays even better than the original, new aesthetics are charming, and music loop is as good as ever. New content is goated.
Keep me posted when you guys remake NMD or Dirk Valentine.

This is a great remake from an already great flash game, it makes the original look like a first version demo, on the best way possible.
This plays way smoother, there are more levels and even hats! You can play co-op online and locally, which is really great and will improve your playtime a lot.
It is a very fun casual game that will hit that nostalgia for any Nitrome fan. For those who just found out this game, buy it, it is a great time.

When I was like 5, I'd go to Nitrome.com every morning and eagerly check if a new game had come out. Didn't have much in terms of consoles, so it was really Nitrome that gave me a taste for video games. Upon hearing about this remake, that sense of giddiness came back to me.
The level design has only gotten better in this DX edition, we're also spoiled to get all the old levels back too, but the way that the new enemies feel, and the new interactions with certain game mechanics, feel really fresh. The spirtework looks significantly more fluid, and has drastically improved since '09.
More than anything though, I'm just happy Nitrome's still around.
