A decent game with old school graphics. Brought back some memories from Sonic and MDK graphics.

This is a fast passed game that will surely keep you busy for a while. It seems like a pumped up version of classic Sonic.

Really slow gameplay and ridiculously long loading times. I'd only recommend this rubbish to the sloth from Zootopia.
Thankfully I got this for £0.99 in the sale. Wouldn't even recommend it at that price though, yey alone the 9.99 they apparently expect normally.

The game is super nice that is why i gave it a positive , but it does not work on my 720P laptop , i had to link it with my TV for it to work. I give it a positive rating per total , but i'm very disapointed that it's not working on 720p , i was hoping to play this at the office.

The new update has really turned this game around and made it a joy to play. The sound and music scapes really are exceptional, and immerse you into the expansive landscapes. The visual effects are rewarding. Each level seems to test a different aspect of the 2.5D gameplay.

Graphics look weird, settings don't seem to take (resolution won't change no matter what I do) and the game crashed 5 minutes into story mode. When it's cleaned up I'm sure it will be fun but I can't recommend it right now.

I have played this game a little and I must say I enjoy it. It has a nice feeling and I like the camera transitions. I think it would be more fun with a controller (yes, it does offer gamepad support) but unfortunatelly I don't own one.
I'm not sure if it's just on my PC but I don't like the fact that the console is always running in the background and if you try to close it the game crashes.
Overall an enjoyable game for the price paid (got it at a discount).

Game keeps crashing on start up and after looking around in the discussions tab, it seems that this is almost an early access product that the developer wants the consumer to instead, refund this game and buy Luna Sky RDX.

Once upon a time my biggest issue with Luna Sky was that it would crash on launch. This was due to a Mesa issue and the developer didn’t have an AMD GPU to test with. Luckily the Mesa team was able to fix this and now the game runs. Sadly after all that I can’t say i enjoyed what I played of it. The voice acting was pretty good. The story seemed too vague and I didn’t have much of an idea what was going on. The platforming was a mixed bag with my main issue being that I didn’t like how you rolled into a ball when jumping as well I didn’t like the skating feature. Early on I was going to complain that there was no map but then I was randomly hitting buttons and found the one that opens a map. The issue was then that I found the map to be be near useless as it had no legend forcing me to figure out what the symbols meant on my own. This was a common theme of Luna Sky where very little was explained very well. Also I was randomly hitting buttons because when you’re in game you can’t view the controls. You also can’t remap the controls at all. One the plus side you can advance to the next level without finding all of the crystals if you want but also know that any crystals you find will not carry over so best to cash them in before advancing. You won’t know you’re at the end though as it isn’t marked in any way. The graphics are alright but not mind blowing in any way. The music is in that vein as well, good but noting special.
I played Luna Sky on Linux. It has an AA toggle and 4 graphics options. Alt-Tab works. You can save at save stations or on exiting the game. If you choose upon exiting the game it will put you at the nearest save station when you next run the game. Every other time I run the game any time it freezes on launch. I simply have to kill it and then the very next time it will run fine. Given that the developer still doesn’t support AMD GPUs I doubt this will be fixed any time soon. The performance was strange. The frame rate itself was great but the system resource usage, especially the RAM usage was far more than what the visuals should have needed.
Disk Space Used: 2.2GB
Game Version Played: 1.5
Input Used: Logitech F310
Game Settings Used: AA on; Animation Sync on; Glow Quality High; 1920x1080
GPU Usage: 21-100 %
VRAM Usage: 1096-1379 MB
CPU Usage: 14-27 %
RAM Usage: 4.8-6.7 GB
Frame Rate: 102-144 FPS
I only paid $1.39 CAD for Luna Sky but I still can’t recommend it. I just didn’t enjoy the game play and found the game to be too vague and leave you to figure out even the most basic things as well as lacking, what I thought to be, basic features. I played for about an hour before quitting.
My Score: 4.5/10
