He is definitely challenging to master but I could see myself having lots of fun playing him!

Really neat character. He's a fun allrounder with a lot of fun buffs and attacks to mess around with. 8 euros is maybe a bit pricey for one character, but I got a good deal on the base game so I don't really mind. Looking forward to seeing who else gets added down the road.

Any negative review towards how the character plays out is literally skill issue or they didn't like his gameplay style which shouldn't warrant a negative review if it's just because he is not your playstyle in my opinion; The character itself IS well made. Merlin can get as strong as any other character and has a compelling gameplay that honestly sits above the rest. Spells are flashy and satisfying to hit. At first I too was on the boat of "Merlin has a lot of resources and that seems to lower his ceiling" but that is false. As you play and get used to the skills and you quickly see how much his versatility helps with scaling and getting strong fast. If you want something new and fun in Ravenswatch he is definitely going to feel fresh for a good amount of hours. Worth it if that's what you're looking for :)
