I really love this game the community at the time of me writing this is really small but with a bigger community this game will really take off im sure. it can get very competitive at times and is just a fun screw around game for local friends its amazing honestly. there are bugs sometimes still like all games but they are working on them and seem to be updating at least once or twice every couple of weeks

I really liked warlock as a warcraft mod I didn't liked this game : The game lack synergy and combots between the differents spells. When you have lots of spells, they doesn't seem linked, it juste a bunch of solo spells. At the same time, the spells aren't powerfull by themselves. Because they only have three levels which doesn't cost and improve your spells much, you never have very powerfull/annoying spell which could be a "signature" or could be remarkable. Futhermore, I have a ping of 67 and while it doesn't hinder me skill-wise, it seem to makes my character bug (for exemple gravity ball make me move very fast everywhere and can send me far away while it doesn't does it for the other players) And lastly, the game seem slower than Warlock. The buggy behavior is not the worse thing. Should the game have synergy or remarkable spell I wouldn't mind it. Maybe it'll be better later, but I don't like the game as it is. (Adding equipments to specialise some spells, adding more spells, more levels...) This game is a feeble clone of Warlock, doesn't add anything, remove some. I recommand to instal Warcraft 3 and play Warlock instead of this game. (cost less and you have more mods and other games at bonuses)

A great competitive game for those times where you just want to blow someones face off with a fireball. You can play chaotic 8-man free-for-alls or the more competitive 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3. No matter what you'll have great fun. The devs are great, they are asking the community what they should work on next, and are even playing with us in matches. I can say one thing for sure: you haven't truly lived until you have countered an opponents meteor back into his face.

Spellsworn sometimes feels like the bastard child of Smash Bros and the MOBA genre. You and a number of other players fight in an ever-shrinking arena, trying to push each other into the surrounding lava. You control a single character (Your spellsworn) much like a MOBA, and use various spells to knock your opponents around. Spells range from the basic Fireball to the Chakram (A spinning disc that can orbit you to protect you from other spells and damage opponents) and Counter Pulse (Instantly reflects anything within a short distance, perfect for countering opponents attacks). Hilarities ensue, as the game can both lead to absurd situations like getting thrown out by gimmicky, but highly powerful combos, or getting caught up between 5 people slinging fireballs at each other. You can also end up with highly skill-intensive 1v1's where every pixel of movement and second of cooldown matters, as the arena grows too small for comfort. The game currently (June 2016) suffers from a small population, meaning there won't always be people to play with, but there are Steam groups for that, and the devs regularly host playdates. Overall a great game with some of the most fun gameplay I've ever had, that is only getting better. See you in the ring!

Definitely a buy, I've come across few issues but from what I've heard they are doing a bug fix on day 2 of release so they are definitely working on it. I've started a Feedback topic in the Discussion hopefully they will take this under consideration. Very simliar to the Warcraft 3 map "Warlocks" Really hope the game expands and grows

The game is quick, exciting and promises a great depth when it comes to playstyles. While the early access is a bit slim, I think it'll develop quite nicely, and the sheer layers of mindgames and skill in this game will keep it fresh for a long time, I hope!

I really like this game, its very promising. Kinda reminds me of Magicka but in the form of Bloodline Champions. People say its exactly like Warlocks mod in WC3 but i've never played this. Unfortunately its really hard to find a game now adays. Your best shot is to play this with friends tbh, wish this had more publicity. Great game nontheless, still in Alpha.

Spellsworn is a nice magus duel arena that is in very early stage for now. Every game you pick from a pool of around 20 spells and engage in a battle full of cooldown based skillshots, kinda like in DOTA or perhaps Magicka Wizard Wars (I didnt play that one). Game offers matchmaking and character customization. Probably way more in the future, since it is prealpha. The price is very decent for an early access title, so dont hestitate to pick it up. Come be a dark magus with me!

Intense gameplay. Easy to pick up, but difficult to master. This game is definitly worth the price tag even in this early access. Help the developers out and spread the word. Maybe more people will play :)

After 30 mintues of playing Spellsworn, I knew I had to write a quick review: Spellsworn is based off of a very popular WarCraft III mod Combat takes place on an ever-shrinking circular stone field (other map's im sure will come, but i don't feel they are neccessary this early in development) that is surrounded by lava. Being in lava is similiar to standing underneath a turret on LoL or Dota. This is the main source of damage output, being able to knock your enemies into the lava. It isn't an instant kill, but it rapidly drains health, because of this, most of the spells are focused around knockbacks (quantified in game as punches i think). Others allow you to teleport, heal, reflect enemy spells, and so on(loads more spells on the way). The player starts with 100 health and is out of the match at 0, the winner being the last one standing. Most spells do some damage, but it is usually minimal. The idea is to soften everyone up, so when the battleshield shrinks down to a heartpoundingly small size and lava is everywhere you lookandohmygodlookoutforthatmagicmissleowowowowDEAD. It is tons of fun. Its like if the towers on LoL or DOTA were invincible and slowly crept towards eachother on either side. Think of how intense that would be, thats Spellsworn. Obligatory 10/10 would burn again
