When I got this game on release it was rough but fun, it has gotten much better and the open world zombies is a gem I go back to often. The multiplayer is normal cod nothing much special besides the quality feel compared to other cod titles in the past. I really enjoyed the progression for multiplayer as well. But the third mode, the campaign, is just horrible. I crawled my way through cringing and disappointed. This was especially disappointing given that I really liked mw2’s campaign. Overall just get the game if you are interested in the open world zombies and it’s on sale.

i would rather rip my fingernails out with pliers and then dip them in hydrogen peroxide then ever play shipment 24/7 with them creatures that enjoy laying on their stomachs and holding hands with their boy toys. but yes 10/10 would recommend

this game sucks. the lag is unplayable no matter what i try. only about 3 of the hours i have a re from me actually playing the game because i spent most of the time trying to fix the lag. the game itself is actually pretty fun but despite me having a really good pc the lag is unbearable.

Fun multiplayer. Single player is a genuine hunk of ♥♥♥♥. Mega second hand embarrassment. Please pray for the sad saps that made it.

Having played all of the other cod campaigns, including the modern warfare remakes, this is definitely the weakest out of all of them, It feels like half of the game is just "open combat" missions which from what I can tell are just warzone like maps with some enemies slapped down and a few objectives to hold E on. The actual missions that are like traditional campaign missions were fun, but overall, very short campaign, and just a weak entry in the series overall, I even enjoyed some of the more controversial cod games over this.

Even with all it's faults ranging from the campaign full of reused content from Warzone and previous titles and it's storytelling being terrible, the open world Zombies mode that is mid at best basically being a few redisgned warzone maps full of Zombies, this game's multiplayer is top tier. Some of the best multiplayer fun i had for a while now that CS2 wishes could replicate but failed to do so miserably because of how clunky everything feels in that game. And even better you dont have to worry about getting doxed or getting your account hacked as mp is 100 precent safe. And those maps? Muah, amazing selection from Tokyo to even Santorini, Greece the veriety is simply incredible. And it should come as no suprise that the gunplay feels incredible. It's fast pasted, fluid and so satisfying to master. Overall, if you are looking for a cheap modern MP experience very reminiscent of the older times, which is kinda rare nowadays 28 bucks is a banger deal for this. Don't even bother with the newwe titles. Don't worry about not finding people, as there's still a very healthy playerbase still enjoying this game of the game both on PC and console.

I cant havin' fun because of Absurd Characters and it makes me say JESUS HOW MANY ABSURD CHARACTERS THERE IS??? I cant count them also no one has reality and military characters if I check someone's operator for buy skin but sadly they didnt got based reality and military skins. Please kick them out whoever doin' it in your platform because you literally have no idea that you're killin' call of duty slowly and stealthy. Please do listen what people says about their feedback in your game. Also I believe MW4 will not have absurd characters because they said they will never ever brin' the ♥♥♥♥♥♥' absurd characters and that's why I bought it. I believe in with Infinity Ward.

If you are buying this for the campaign, I genuinely would not recommend it. I enjoyed the first two reboot games (mostly 2019) and bought this one because of MW4's announcement, but my god, I did not expect the disappointment I had when the second mission of the campaign was some warzone multiplayer content injected into the single player part of the game. Don't get me wrong. It's not some inherently evil bad thing, but this kind of gameplay is something I would not expect from the same franchise that helped build the perception that videogames can be "playable movies". It's also not that the past reboot campaigns are some masterpieces of a single player fps experience, but this is just lazy. Like what the hell? This is the first COD campaign that feels like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ theme park.

Lower hours due to this being removed from COD HQ. This is the only good COD game that has been made since Black Ops 4. It corrected the issues with Modern Warfare 2 (2022) and gave players a game with a ton of content to explore, and an overall better gameplay experience. This game added 150 HP which required players to actually shoot their guns and aim at their targets on both controller and MNK. This was met with mixed reception due to MW2019 and MW2022's instant time to kill and removal of the actual skill gap in COD. This game corrected the removal of red dots on the minimap, which was a problem in both MW2019 and MW2022. If you meet anyone who disagrees with this change, they are likely not a credible source for what makes a good Call of Duty game. Part of playing the game at a higher level was being able to read the radar on the go, and understanding what you need to stay off of it if you wanted to. Movement was made faster. Dead silence was a perk. Yes the game is fast - I promise you will be ok. This game also brought back classic MW2 (2009) maps. This was a fun change, but some of the maps didn't play as well with modern movement. However, the content released for the game (Maps, guns, vests, modes) was fantastic. There's a LOT of stuff in this game for you to try out. Some of the maps released even made it into the CDL, which is great. Sledgehammer games did the best they could with what they had here. Modern Warfare 2023 is often criticized as a DLC. While this might have some merit, I urge you to play both games and truly ask yourself if this is the case. The game plays totally different than Modern Warfare 2022. Now, that doesn't necessarily warrant a $70 purchase in the current year, but on a sale - absolutely. Especially if you love the modern setting and want an arcade shooter. Sledgehammer games were given a crappy deal with this game (Go read about it) and they created something very impressive in a short amount of time. Get it on sale. EDIT: In regards to the aim assist conversation, I can understand the frustration regarding going against strong aim assist from controller players while playing on MNK. Unfortunately, the culture and competitive scene that Call Of Duty has built has been centered around controller gameplay. This isn't to say that aim assist isn't an issue in these newer games with Dynamic aim assist - because it most certainly is. However, I think the game is good enough from a gunplay perspective to be enjoyed on both inputs. EDIT 2: Yes there is a cheating / hacking situation present. This is the state of older COD titles unfortunately. There are currently enough players to find plenty of clean games in a variety of modes.

Do not bother, even with the "new update" this game is dead. The body odor boys are still running rampant with wall hacks and aim bot. If you're just looking for a shooter to kill time after work/school, this one is not for you. It's roughly 85% insecure men using 3rd party software to look like their favorite COD streamer. I would also like to note that I have 150 additional hours through CODHQ so at around 200+ hours total played take it from me and save yourself the time. ***PLEASE DO NOT PRE-ORDER MODERN WARFARE 4 UNTIL RICOCHET IS CONFIRMED TO BE REPLACED***
