Even better than the base game, this DLC is fantastic.

This piece of shit plays like a Trine romhack, generally isn't very fun (and when it is, expect frusteation within minutes because good periods MUST be balanced out with painful puzzles), and to top it all off I never got to see the ending thanks to it glitching out.
Avoid.

The Trine 2: Goblin Menace DLC does not disappoint. Though I'd get it at 50 % off.
I need help with the very last level - a boss fight that seems only doable in co-op mode. Who's in?

It's a must have! The level designs are much more complex and requires helluva creative solving. Worth it.

Качественно, но слишком короткое ДЛС (хотя хуле еще хочет за 135р). Ах да, один из уровней заканчивается тем, что герои вылезают из ануса огромного червя. +1

If you enjoyed the Trine 2 base game, or just enjoy looking at pretty things, don't hesitate to pick up this DLC. It's more of the same gameplay, but the 6 additional levels take place in completely new environments that will make you go "ooooh" and "aaaah" all over again. Also, they finally included a tough boss at the end. I recommend playing with at least 1 friend for maximum enjoyment. Good stuff.

Try to think of it as an expansion pack rather than as DLC... it's well worth the $6.79 and adds a tremendous amount of content, as well as a high degree of replayability. New puzzles and environment are as creative as ever. A worthy expansion to the best non-Nintendo sidescroller of all time!

More of Trine 2, that can only be a good thing, right ? Well... yes and no. First of all, the game introduces more cinematic cutscenes, which look breathtaking. Same goes for the actual gameplay. It all looks so gorgeous in motion; screenshots don't do it justice. Second, there is more variation in the 5 new levels that it introduces. I don't want to spoil anything, but you'll be walking in a town and a desert for example. Next, there's plenty of secrets of be found and collecting all the experience orbs in a level might take you well over an hour. All great stuff so far.
Now on to the 'bad' part. 'Bad 'is more 'disappointing', really. Why didn't I say that instead ? You tell me. But some of the puzzles annoyed me because there's a lot of physics based puzzles in this game, and a simple solution to a problem sometimes took me over 15 minutes to execute. A bit frustrating, as you can imagine. It's the only thing I had a problem with.
The DLC itself is very much worth the asking price.
