Playtime: 92 minutes
My journey with Big Action Mega Fight! began with me trying to play it on my steam deck.... it didn't work. I then tried playing it on my PC, and was getting a known bug that the developer hasn't fixed for 8 years, where the game launches in a small vertical format with a black box on it. Messing with the compatibility settings in the games .exe file made the game be full screen as it should be. There is no graphics settings in the game itself, which I find baffling. After all that, I was finally able to play the game. Within the first 5-10 minutes, I was thinking I was not liking the game. It has the vibe of flash games of yesteryear. Dated for sure. I am not a big beat-em-ups guy, and BAMF! was feeling pretty simple. However, as I played more and more, collected more and more coins. I upgraded my character more and more, and the dopamine flowed into my brain more and more. I knew I had to see the game though. There is only 37 levels and I beat the game in one sitting of about an hour. A short title for sure, but hey, it's $1.99 full price, and is on sale often for $1 or less. I had fun with it. However, I still don't think the game is worth the headache of getting to work. There are many better games that are probably free. I don't remember buying this game and only played it because it was already in my library.
