I recommend this game, here is why. The pace of the game is good, you immediately get thrown into the unknown road. There are jump scares and the eerie feeling that someone is watching you, there may not be puzzles but figuring out what is happening through letters scatter all over, makes it for an intense game. This game gets a 👍

Driving through a snowy forest at night is a perfect landscape for an eerie horror game, which is why I bought Trucker Horror, even though it was undeniable that the game is extremely low-effort (I mean, just look at the title). Nonetheless, the game is really bad. It's about half an hour long, but I still didn't finish it, because at the end I just died randomly, and at that point I was too bored to try again. Half of the game is about driving your truck, but the controls are ridiculous, you could be riding a bicycle, and it wouldn't be a much different experience. Sometimes it also just goes wild, and there's nothing to stop you, because you can go through trees without any issues, they simply float into your passenger seat. The other half of the game is looking through abandoned locations and finding notes that explain the story, but these notes have not been proofread by anyone because they're filled with mistakes. Controls on the controller don't work, the game wanted me to use B for certain actions, but it didn't register pressing the button, so I had to press E on my keyboard to make it work. The game is trash, and the horror aspect lacks any sort of creativity as well. You get some mild jumpscares and that's it. You really shouldn't waste your $3 and 30 minutes on this.

A game from the genre "The idea was good, but the implementation was disappointing." I think it's worth explaining. Imagine that you watch 1 episode of a series and that's it. The end. No sequel. I would have no problem paying 2, 3 or even 4 times more for the game if it had more development. Of the obvious disadvantages that are not worth the astronomical money to include in the game are the dead dashboards in the truck. The truck is controlled like a toy car for children and is full of ill-conceived moments like if you open the door from the wrong side, you get stuck forever. ! HOWEVER! Is the game worth the money? Most likely yes. Just be prepared that you will not get a super wow effect from it.

From all the reviews I've read, I think this game is completely overhated lol. It's a three dollar game & I think you get exactly what you pay for. It wasn't life changing but it was fun and I got spooked a couple of times.
