Requires a fast rig, but motion smoothing works great. The game is fully playable and enjoyable - and I do not mind supporting the devs' efforts to finish and optimize this early access game. You'll probably want at least an RTX 3070 for this game. Tested with in-game Epic settings using Valve Index res 300% in 80 Hz with motion smoothing enabled, RTX 3090, i9 10900K, 32GB, Win 10.

This game was absolutely nothing like I expected it to be. I'm still trying to figure out how much I like it. There are no achievements, so I don't know what the purpose of the collectibles are. Nor do I have any motivation to look for them since there are no Steam achievements for the game. I'm already over 2 hours into the game, and to hear that it's only about 3 hours long is disheartening, especially for 25 dollars. There doesn't seem to be much replay value either, so idk. I'd still recommend it though, but maybe wait for a really good sale. It's really an extremely basic game with absolutely no difficulty to it. It's also not even scary at all. I was expecting this to be extremely scary. I feel like the premise of this game had a lot more potential to be such a bigger and better game with a heavy atmosphere. But really, half the time you are just walking through boring plain crawl spaces and boring halls, So there's not much atmosphere to explore. Yet somehow I'm still enjoying it enough to keep playing.

Bare in mind the game is only about 4 hrs long. However it's one of the best 4 hours of VR game play I've enjoyed this year. Gobs of great story voiced perfectly. You can't not feel for the little girl as you attempt your escape. All the while trying to figure out just what you are and what's going on. the price justifies the game. and in a world of 70-90 Dollar games a twenty is just right.

A short but unique and atmospheric (VR) game. I've finished it in a little over 3 hours in one sitting, but I did enjoy it from start to finish. The gloomy, somewhat eerie atmosphere and voice acting is good, and the puzzles weren't too hard. it does have Little Nightmares or Hello Neigbor vibes, which is a great plus to me. I thought the story was also quite intriguing. I wanted to know more of what was going on as I was playing. I did find the ending somewhat abrupt though, and wished there was more (see spoiler section, but beware of story spoilers). All in all I enjoyed the game and am looking forward to more, either in this game or their next project. It is in Early Access, but the story is supposedly finished, but will wait and see what else is added (besides things like achievements). Performance wise I didn't encounter any major issues or crashes. Some frame drops but that's just cause my PC isnt that High end (i9-9900KF and 2080TI). I also had no issues with the VR controls and it worked perfect using a Bigscreen Beyond and Index knuckles. Story spoilers / questions so do beware:
I wanted to know more about 'the ritual' that is performed that (assumedly) turns the children into paintings during full moons. I also wanted to know why they blinded the children, unless it literally was so they can't run away. You encounter the ritual spot in the basement with the chair and weird Rorschach ink painting hanging above it, but you never return to that spot or destroy the ritual or something. During the story it's implied the Mother does it because she lost her own child, Lucille, and uses other children as 'replacements' that eventually need to be immortalized or something through the ritual. I guess they become too old (a room does have different heights of children as they grow on the wall), making them less like Lucille and thus have to be "ritualized" / "immortalized" when they still resemble her? Lastly I was hoping we'd destroy the ritual or something and thus free the children's souls / shadow forms and also "punish" Mother & Clayton for what they've done. But near the end Clayton falls through the floor and that's it, Mother only gets dragged away by the shadow children / souls during a cutscene but is later seen picking up Teddy's eye after the credits indicating she got away (and might continue abducting children and performing the ritual on them or track Sophie through the eye) and we don't know what happens to Sophie once she escaped into the woods. I don't know, the ending left too much open ends and felt a bit too rushed to me. I guess I just wanted a bit more closure? I can only hope more story is either added, becomes a DLC or perhaps a part 2 of Out of Sight somewhere in the future.
Really fun puzzle game, for any fans of little nightmares this is a must have, and the VR port is great. As mentioned it defaults to epic settings but dropped to medium on my 3060/Ryzen 5 3600 setup with a Quest 3 link (cabled) and it runs pretty well. I'm not into spending ages messing with settings so happy with that. Highly recommend picking this up and I think it will do well on Quest and PSVR2 platforms when it reaches them later in the year. An amazing second release for Flat2VR studios!

such a unique concept with a great atmosphere. being someone else's eyes works very well in vr, blending different perspectives from first person to third person which creates some very cool moments. Can't wait to hope back in.

For an early access game, this is nicely polished with little to no rough edges. The game itself is well done, with a spooky element, and a scenario that gets you emotionally invested in protecting Sophie. In VR, this game gives me chills. The environment and mechanics are perfectly executed, and the idea of seeing in 2nd person from the eyes of the Teddy Bear seems very well suited to VR. Quite frankly, I'm surprised this is listed as early access. This is more polished than a lot of big studio games after full release. Bravo to Flat 2 VR Studios. Highly recommended!

What I'm about to type is a absolute fact in my humble opinion. This is the scariest VR game to me, I'm sure the Devs could've gone further with it but my imagination just causes me to get shivers playing this. For starters the Devs never explained why she has a blind-fold, my mind is telling me they removed her eyes and that's essentially a bandage. Then you have the creepy people roaming this child trafficking house and the scale make it even more spooky. The concept is amazing and wish more developers be as innovative as this game. 100% perfect score game... well executed.

When people say VR is magic it is no exaggeration. And this game is some strong magic. A teddy as your eyes to switch between first and third person perspective is a really cool concept that fits VR perfectly. The reason this is early access at launch is that performance isn't quite stable enough and some camera movement will be taxing for people without VR legs. So take it as a warning if you easily get motion sick. Fortunately it wasn't an issue for me and I very much enjoyed what is for sure one of the highlights of this gaming year. I did lower the in-game settings but I didn't notice much of a an impact on graphical quality.
