Fun time this one. Short and sweet though, at least at the time of this review.
Primary gameplay loop is basically optimizing preset blocks of combat spells/skills/(code), then setting combat loose and seeing things play out. You can't interfere directly once combat starts, but it's pretty forgiving. You get a combat preview of most all outcomes you might be worried about. Things like health loss, turns used, and build specific resource gain.
My main complaint right now would be the shortness of the runs. It feels like by the time I finally get a build put together, I'm at the end of a run. I end up wishing there were another tier or two of levels and bosses to fight through.
Wish the devs success on this one. Worth the money I spent on it anyway.

surprisingly this is a very promising and very fun game but the content is small. i hope there will be more updates but it is so cheap that i am in doubt.
visual and audio remind me of old game style
+ a lot of interesting interaction between things
+ tutorials and some QoL explaining interactions in the game
+ diverse play style
+ interesting graphic style, good visual, good animation and visual effects
+ interesting music, good music, good sound effects
+ very cheap for the amount of content and how much fun i get
> no ultrawide but it is fine
> good for short gaming session and can be paused
- content is small
- i think i broke the math or the system at the last boss in one of my run and end up cannot beat it unless i remove one conditional power up from my plan
- ui need some improvement and more QoL specially when you are at end game

Fun game, but I really need cloud save!!!!!!!!
Or else please tell me how to copy the save from one computer to another!
I tried to copy the player.log from AppData\LocalLow\TeikiTekinaTakaramono\AutoRogue, but then when the other computer tried to run the game, it just create two new log there, and the save didn't appears any changes.
By the way, Very good Game! I played the demo once and soon just buy it and play.

very cool concept using block programming for combat, very fun to make combinations and see them work. unfortunate there is like only 2 characters so far. almost forgot to mention its pretty short being 3 levels made up of 5 stages.

Programming adjacent, small scope, small price tag. Not too hard to puzzle out why things are happening even in the most complicated situations because it lets you step through each action individually and gives infinite retries for any given fight so you can really dig in and understand what is happening and how to navigate the fight successfully. Seems well balanced or slightly easy which I'll never complain about.
The infinite combo prevention is a little heavy handed, but they had to do something and "40 skills/turn max" works and hasn't overly hindered any of my runs so far.
Would love to see this get achievements and a DLC that adds more than the current 2 playable characters.

Fun little game, which is certainly worth the price.
At the time of this writing, it's still pretty unbalanced.
Some skills are always useless, while others are close to a run winner.
The gimmicks of some enemies are also a bit....annoying to work around.
If you have bad luck, you don't have a single skill to work around a gimmick, and have to end your run.
After around 8hrs of play time I managed to beat the secret final boss (Lv 5 difficulty).
As there is nothing more to unlock for me anymore, I plan to bench the game for a bit, and hope that more content will be available in the future.

This is a very cool game, the amount of stuff you can try is insane.
I've unlocked only one thing so far, and I've beaten the game in easy, medium and hard at least once.
What I would like to see is a way to copy and paste skills with their conditions and the ability to drag conditions from a skill to another without the need to remove them and place them again.
Also a screen with the unlocks, just to see what I have to do because I expected to unlock something from finishing a run on hard mode.
The english translation needs work, and also I would like to see an spanish translation, if no ones available I could do it.
Overall the game is super fun and for that price, it's a no brainer, if you're on the fence on buying it ( for some reason since its cheap ). Just buy it. It's great. Whatever gripes I have about the game they dont get in the way of the game being really really fun.

A great surprise, what a fun game!
A programming-ish roguelike auto battler.
Might be a little hard to get into the mechanics, but if you've played games with synergy you'll get the hang of it soon enough.
I like how it displays the result of your attacks which gives your brain a chance to think for combinations.

Fun game, and good value for it's price I'd say. I do wish it was longer, got a really strong combo setup but that was on the final boss. Definitely needs some translation work done though, had to figure some effects out by trial and error. I.e. Spare Batteries say they "give energy whenever the skill is used for the first time in battle" so I thought it meant it would activate once for each skill per battle, but it really only activates once per battle. Probably should just say "Gives energy at the start of battle". The upgraded flame shield says "Burns half the shield" or something like that, thought it would be half of the enemy's shield is turned into burn or destroyed, but it means it adds burn value to the enemy equal to half of the player's shield value.

This game is alright to kill a little time, turn down the high pitch 8-bit music and its pretty chill. However, within 8 hours of play I've come across 3 different bugs that were not just translation issues, and stopped my runs dead in their tracks. Game could use some more polish.
