Did you like Sim City 2000 back in the day? Well go find your disk for it instead of playing this.

Build a grand city and manage it with god like skill. But be wary, your unskilled workers are prone to riot and no amount bowling alleys will quell their thirst for blood.

Simple Reason for my downvote: there is a similar, but MUCH better game availble on the steam store; Cities Skyline. I would list the pros an cons and get into a deep discussion as to how I reached this conclusion, but honestly I don't care enough. Also, my kids tugging at my sleeve who want to use my incredibly powerful gaming rig to play barbie horse adventures or some other crap. Oh, and there's a small leak in the roof that I really should get around to fixing before it starts raining. Honestly, with all the pressures of modern life and the demands of an unhealthy gaming addiction how can I be expected to dedicate any amount of time to reviewing games? I think it's fair in my case to simply click a thumb and move on. Your understanding in this regard is appreciated. Thank you.

This is not merely the evolution of "City Life" (as I thought at first) but a revolution in city-building games! Every detail was well-thought to make it as realistic as possible, and the result is VERY amusing. I'm fairly sure this beats the SimCity series.

Game is impossible to play, need to connect to a server but the server won't connect because the server isn't available anymore. If you buy a game you should be able to play it for life. Shutting down access to the game and then steam refusing to refund is unacceptable.

The images and videos for this game series (this game and its 'sequels' which are really just v0.1 improvements each time) may look impressive, but behind the glossy exterior is a shallow, basic title with minimal customization, poor actual simulation, and barebones features. After just a few short hours of the game, at which point you will see massive highrises going up, you wonder what the point of it all is - the game tries to drag itself out by forcing you to unlock things, but there is neither a reward for mechanical mastery of the game or artistic/creative license as there is nothing really worth building even for fun. Even if after all of this, you thought this might be worthwhile, the 'sequels' to this game (which they released a few of) are all essentially the same with just a few minor tweaks - know that the same will happen to that title.
