Killing Floor: Steampunk Character Pack DLC

Typical add-on pack. Expands your game, nothing wrong with that. Some will use some will not. Great game though. Better than the 2nd game. Its clear what you're getting, Over priced DLC of course, like most, but frequently on sale. Worth it then.

I got this DLC in the complete pack. All off them suffer from the same flaws so this review is copied to all of them. Now. The skins and weapons are totally fine. The problem here is the extreme pricing and the fact that this game has a modding community with better, free, stuff. They even admit that a lot of this is made by said community. I as a console peasant and a sucker did not get this simple fact and pronounced “Yes! I do want to pay more!”. Don’t be like me. Don’t suck, blow… wait, what?

Pretty good quality steampunky characters. Each are tailored after a class in the game, so you'll have something for everything you play.

Reggie the Raging Bull Berserker Adam the Flaming Pyrotechnic Firebug Dave the Healing Doctor Field Medic Peter the experienced Assassin Sharpshooter This character pack is at least better than 2 but in the second Scully looks badass. 11/10 would recommend this pack.

Easily the best of the 2 Steampunk character packs, while the other had an awesome Steampunk demo, Skully and Support, the commando looked ugly as hell and unfitting. However here all 4 characters are very soild and well designed, my favorite being Firebug. Overall great character pack.

Four new characters to play with, that's cool. But it's also pretty much just a cosmetic DLC. These new characters aren't anything special. Pretty much a simple cosmetic for extra cash. I usually just hate cosmetic DLC's like this one. They truly won't increase the overall playtime. And therefore, It's kind of pointless to have it. Sure, It makes you look a bit cooler, whatever. Unless you are rich, you really don't need this. Why did I get this? To support the developers. Killing floor has received a ton of free content. There's a lot of free events and great updates. And I think they do deserve that extra money. Yeah, cosmetics are a very lazy way to earn it. But supporting those developers is important. With that being said: I give a negative review. And why? Because I simply dislike cosmetics. I can't recommend something I didn't enjoy. As I said: I bought this DLC to support them. But that doesn't mean I have to like the DLC. There's a ton of free characters to play with. Purchasing the extra ones is really pointless. You really won't gain extra playtime from it. It's a way to give 'more' money to the devs. But in the end, It's truly just four new skins. You truly don't need them and that's a fact.

This character pack is purely cosmetic. You get 4 skins from it, but they have not really had as much effort put into them like other skin packs that have special effects or voicing they can show off. They are also not particularly that interesting.

My favourite character pack by far. While they don't come with unique voice lines, their design is pretty cool and fits the game really well.
