"Ankh" takes you on a 3D point-and-click adventure through the wonders of ancient Egypt. The game serenades your ears with excellent music and voice acting. However, the humor seems to have taken a time machine back to a kindergarten playground, leaving you with a cringe-worthy taste. The storyline feels as deep as a dried-up riverbed in the desert. Prepare to be puzzled – not just by the game's challenges, but by the excruciatingly slow navigation system. You'll spend way too much time trekking through endless corridors again and again... It feel exactly as if you were traversing the desert under the scotching sun... If only they had added a fast travel option, it could have been a game-changer! Assil tries very hard to be an Egyptian Guybrush in training, but charisma seems to have missed his address. With a few tweaks, particularly in the speed department, it could have been a nice game, expecially for early teenagers.
