Brings back memories :) The code base was updated to run on anything, yet Mr. Rohlik only published the Windows version to Steam :) Ah well, that's part of the charm I guess.

You will not be able to finish the game without reading external guides because gameplay is not intuitive.
It would be good for someone who is genius and wants spend lot of time on it.

Awesome. If you have any nostalgia or are just interested in classic style cRPGs, this is a great entry. It's got all the classic feel of a Wizardry/Might & Magic type, but a surprisingly good UI that makes it relatively easy to jump into without having to fight with an archaic interface.

Absolute classic to Czech players, but I would also recommend to every fan of old school RPGs, especially dungen crawlers, or if you want a simple game to get into (it gets difficult eventually, if it's your first time around, but it's such a lovely game environment to visit, I'm sure you'll have fun).

Fun throwback. Very unclear on story and what to do in the game but fun to figure out some stuff. I got stuck in the story and just grew tired of trying to figure out what to do eventually. Maybe the wonky translations didn't help. Still fun up until that!

Old school dungeon crawler that is not giving anything for free. Enemies are not easy (from the start), some puzzles are difficult to figure out. If you like old school difficult dungeon crawlers give it a shot. For its time the game has interesting game design aspects that would be nice in contemporary RPGs as well. Class-less characters or party splitting as examples.
Considered as cult classic in Czech and to this day one of my favorite RPGs
This release makes the game work on current systems but expect original UI and controls, that might need some getting used to

One day randomly scrolling through steam finding this gem ? for few bucks ? oh dayum instant buy and finally legally owning this gem without having to go through loops of fixing it, making it work on modern hardware. to play in windowed mode because it could not handle modern resolution on full screen.
Basically a little czech made dungeon crawler with clever story, tight mechanics and pretty nice hand driven animations. Its old and its not for everyone but if you have a knack for adventure and you have a bit of patience and wit then this is a game to enjoy. I usually rename the three heroes to my and my friends names and we pretend that we are in this adventure together as i stream it to them.
I love that its translated fairly well to english, Just missing the little launcher that allowed us to also install custom stories and change some settings. Its cheap, tasty and i love it.

This is definitely old skool as it does not hold your hand at all. While it has an automap (which is nice - it allows adding your own notes) it does not have any quest journal per se, just a "notebook" that some quest information is copied into. It would be nice if the conversations that are important to the overall quest were copied into it as well, but it is an older game and as such doesn't have a lot of the QoL aspects we're used to with newer games.
The combat is solid and character development as well. I've only had to go back to an older save once...not because of a bug, but because I spent all my money on training my characters but not on "ghost swords" which are essentially the only way to reasonably kill one of the areas monsters. Not a huge deal as I only lost about an hour, but still a bit frustrating .
In any case, it's a great little game and fun for what it is. I'm guessing I'm only about half way through. Thankfully there are a couple of guides to help you figure a few things out as there were a couple of tricky/hidden things that would have taken awhile to sort through without them. I think I'm getting lazy/spoiled in my old-er age lol.
In any case, if you like older RPGs that don't hold your hand and have a decent amount of detail to them then this is a good buy. It's not expensive either so price shouldn't stop you. I'd give it a solid 7/10.
Enjoy!
