Balancers highk suck but theyre a cool spectacle. Dreglords rlly cool and fun. Overall the DLC itselfs kinda easy and the new shifting earth is 90% of the challenge.

Pretty smol dlc (thus, would recommend if you either want more of the nightreign or if you have a deluxe pack), but the bosses are good and fun (easily one of the best in the entire game, if not the best). I would advice ignoring the complaints about the new map, as some of the problems with it were resolved with patches. Actually, new map has faster pacing, feels more like a boss rush, and some of the sections are pretty interesting to explore, as the have a small vibe of classic souls exploration, you do get rewarded for exploring it well. I don't think I've explored it fully throughout lots of my runs. New chars are also quite good. Though, they really should have added more bosses and weapons, I think. P.S., another bad thing is their rotation of buffed, everdark versions of the bosses, as one of the dlc bosses has everdark form, that means you might need to wait for weeks for their turn, or hope for ranked matchmaking RNG + good teammates.

Beautiful base game ruined by a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ designed boss (balancers). The new map isn't the worst once you learn it and I believe Undertaker + Scholar are really fun to play and learn but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ are the balancers horrible. You know Dredgelord? The guy the DLC hypes up? it's a good fight and it's fun to learn but it's tainted by the goyiums you have to fight before him. Constant agro, little room for error let alone heal a teammate that has 2 bars or above, not to mention it doesn't matter how good of a run you have you'll still get slimed in the end. "Skill issue Skill issue" I'VE BEATEN THESE WOMEN 4 TIMES AS WELL AS THE EVERDARK VERSION AND THEY ARE STILL UNFORGIVING AND STILL AS UNFUN AS WHEN I FIRST PLAYED THE DLC! not to mention the day 2 boss potentially being Mohg, that guy can suck the biggest ♥♥♥♥ like the canonical cuck he is bro. With nothing much really added to the game since this DLC's release which was 6 months ago now, if they end it here I don't think this game is going to survive for years to come. It's a FromSoftware game which comes with tilting, rage, and challenging fights, but an unfun stamina drained fight that is based on luck does not equal to a challenge conquered. It's just a headache of a fight I care less for until I go and fight it again. Everdark Sentient Pest sucks balls too.

so much makes up for how terrible the new map is and its a good thing we have shifting earths so you can just play regularly on limveld or use other shifting earths, and still fight the 2 bosses. the night 1 & 2 bosses are for some reason harder bosses than the night 3 boss for the 1st one which i knida hate but other than that i love the 2 nightlords especially the last one, amazing themes and move sets. the final nightlord definitely makes this dlc a 8.5/10. please drop another dlc.

Fantastic DLC and with the Dreglord having one of Fromsoftwares best Bosses to date. Not exaggerating, I could glaze that Boss for hours. The fight and especially the OST playing while fighting is easily S-Tier material. It has to be experienced rather than watched. The new Map is also fantastic though its definetly for experienced Nightreign players.

The new Nightfarers are good additions and the two new Nightlords (and 1 new Everdark) are fun and on par with the quality of the base game. The new map is fun and far more challenging than that of the base game. However the problem with that is that the question becomes: why would you ever play the much more difficult map? If players can just continue to play the normal base game map which is far simpler and vastly more rewarding then the only reason to play the new map is for an added challenge. Like a 7/10 DLC overall, there just needed to be more content, even if that was adding old stuff like Dark Souls bosses or SoTE weapons.

this was honestly kinda underwhelming, dont get me wrong i love the game but, only 2 nightlords??? cmon fromsoft wth are we doing. Also no other updates as of a year after the game released sucks a lot. I would recommend only because it's only $15 but thats about it.

As pretty much everybody already pointed out, just not great design for the most part (I especially despise the new shifting earth event). But the worst part is you can not even decide to turn the DLC off, yes you should be able to create a new character without the DLC, which now means you lost all your progress.

Pretty good value if you enjoy the game a lot! - The new Shifting Earth is an entirely new map to master with its own unique POIs. - 2 new Nightfarers means 2 new Remembrances and new relics to unlock, including 6 Collector Signboard relics. - 2 new Nightlords (and one Everdark) means 8 new end-of-day Night Bosses, new day event raids, and they also have new, bigger POIs exclusive to their sets of Limveld seeds. Some people are upset that there's no SOTE weapons or anything, which is more of an unmet expectation than broken promise. My only issue with this DLC is that they didn't add new seeds with the DLC POIs to the base game expeditions. You can't even get the Great Hollows Shifting Earth when playing a base game expedition (though I think you can when playing Deep of Night). Oh, and if you're playing with friends, everyone needs to own the DLC to go on a DLC expedition, not just the host. So keep that in mind.
