This standalone expansion goes so much harder than it really needed to. Better than the base game in every way besides maybe the sleuthing aspect not being as important (and I'm not sure if that is a negative for me). The combat in this is nonstop and just enemies are thrown at you with such veracity that it never has a dull moment. The story is darker, the main villain more well written, and the effort put into this is just more apparent. I loved this. That last act where if you find it you can basically create one of the most broken guns I've played with in a game in a very long time. Also, one of the most fun guns at the same time. This rocks and anyone who bought the original game has to play this. If the original game is a 6/10 for me this is a 8/10

If you loved the main rogue city game, then you will absolutely love this. No nonsense, straight forward shooter. The game add additional character development to the already established characters, while introducing new characters that fitted nicely to the Robocop franchise.
Playing as ED-209 was so fun. I wished the game has chapter selection so I can replay that segment.
The music was just pure awesome. The final act's main theme remix is just pure awesome.

Pretty unoptimised, but fun story, one liners, and lots of dakka. If you can get it on sale, it should be coming with you.

It scratched my itch for a sequel to robocop, but fellshort quickly after a few level and the ending is disapointingly easy with no big fight

I liked this, but I also liked the first one. So let me frame it that way. If you liked the first game, you will like this one. But with some caveats.
This is more action forward. The investigation and NPC interaction elements are far simpler, linear, and obvious. You won't spend a lot of time wandering around looking for little doodads or completing side objectives.
3: The action is good, but on normal mode, once you get all your upgrades you just chew through everything with the Auto-9. Effortlessly.... (pro-tip, armor piercing is your friend in this one. Get a PCB to 120% and just about all the enemies melt in no time).
4: The story is much more linear. And has you going through player controlled flashbacks several times from both Murphy's POV and other key character's POV. And be warned, this story is rather tragic. But that's why it mostly works.
5: The MOST interesting part for me was operating ED-209. That was a fun section.
Overall, if you enjoyed the first game and wanted more Robo, this isn't a bad idea. But it IS short, I beat it in 14 hours and I took my time.
Last bit of advice, always pet the kitty.
Another solid, original outing in the oversized shoes of Alex Murphy
Much like the Fallout TV show, the RoboCop: Rogue City duology is a great entry point for folks new to RoboCop who want a commendable set of games to play with plenty of meat on the bone for the dedicated fans and completionists.
Compared to the previous offering, this game is a leaner, tighter story that wasn't as strong on the emotional side but it did a much better job of introducing and making challenging combat thanks to the great enemy variety and the more restrictive combat arenas. Unfinished Business didn't make me care about Alex Murphy like its predecessor but it helped sell the power fantasy that comes from being RoboCop while adding small tidbits that build on what was previously established.
To bring this review to a concise conclusion, it makes sense to continue the comparisons to the Fallout series. Sadly, Unfinished Business is not the Fallout: New Vegas of the RoboCop series. The previous game is the much more thoughtful story with an expansive world and NPCs with stories worth getting invested in.
This is Fallout 3.
An action-oriented thrill ride that has more spectacle than it does speculation on the human condition. The characters are thin on substance but the structure of the game and its brief runtime keep the pace moving forward and the presentation is more than serviceable, even if the performance is even more choppy than the first entry.
A worthwhile addition that is more of a horizontal gesture than a step forward.
Lessons were learned, corners were cut, but I leave the game satisfied even if the dish was smaller than previous offerings.

Pretty good storyline. But it's even more stutter than the base game, and more buggy. Recommend on sale only

Pretty cool game, loved the movies as well. Also, there are amazing lovely cats in the game, recommending to buy on sale! (the usual tradition)

Not really comparable to the original.
Think of it as game+, alt-mode DLC, where you have more simplified dungeon (tower) crawl with a heavy focus on just combat. Its nothing more, nothing less.
If you liked the first one, especially the shooting part and the DLC is on a big sale? It might be a worth grab. I mean… I’D BUY THAT FOR A DOLLAR!!!

If you ever wanted to feel like Robocop, overpowered, destroying everybody, well this is exactly the game for you.
The RPG progress leads you towards a moment when your gun becomes a mass destruction gun.
And when you think you're down, they let you play as ED-209. That was fun!
Teyon did it again! Looking forward to the next one.
