Best VST ever!

crashes constantly, generally takes the DAW with it, but when it doesn't, have to manually shut down and restart the DAW it's running in. Occasionally, a full system restart is required. Still annoyed at this product. buy it on sale and it might be worth the frustration. Now it's permanently stuck in demo mode and refuses to activate properly. I have even less nice things to say about Cakewalk now.

Help.! Is it just me or I some how F'ed up Downloading this thing. When ever i try to pick and listen to sound samples, Theres not a single sample ive clicked on made any form of sound. ive clicked on numerous samples and fiddled with all the buttons and switches but still nothing happened. I have made an account on cakewalk, thought it would help but it still left me puzzled and clueless. If you have bought this products and has had this problem and managed to fix it somehow, PLEASE HELP!! i really want to make music T.T

It may say I have 17 minutes used with this software, but I have used Rapture as a plugin VST in ableton live 9 suite for hundreds of hours. I had been struggling with other VST looking for some good keys and just effects in general and this had everything that I was looking for.. the interface with the instruments may take some time to get used to if you want to tweak and geek but its totally worth it, tons of high quality effects that work with the latest software and hardware.

The Rapture Pro version is a good synth and sampler with enough features. The waveform based synthesizer sounds good and clear. It is a pity that this software has been abandoned and forgotten.

You can use Recycle Loops with Rapture Pro and trigger the slices based on a note on the keyboard. This is undocumented in the user guide (http://cdn.akamai.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/352290/manuals/Rapture_Pro_User_Guide.pdf?t=1430362800). Just follow the instructions as mentioned in this article (http://www.harmonycentral.com/articles/using-cakewalk-dimension-pro-with-rex-files) and replace Dimension Pro with Rapture Pro. Do not use the MIDI export from Recycle, but drag-n-drop the music icon from the interface onto your DAW, eg. SONAR. For this alone the plugin is worth it's money... imagine those DSP effects you can use ;-). Note: If loading of the rx2 file fails, edit it in ReCycle and turn off 'Envelope', 'Transient' and/or 'EQ'.

Some initial teething issues with getting this to work in Sonar was unexpected, having got it up and running with a bit of experimentation I am finding some very nice sounds with this. Not at all user friendly in the interface but it certainly gets results. This will be keeping me satisfied for a while on soft synths.

UPDATE... This program has proven to be difficult to run while running my DAW (Pro-Tools 12). One refuses to work when the other is running. This forces me to use other programs that are more friendly. I don't have time to shut down just to use this program... Be prepared to struggle with it... with pro-tools at least... I can't really comment on how useful it is since i can't get it to work when i am in production. My initial impression....I run pro tools 11 with an M Box Pro, various cakewalk utility programs, Novation 49 controller. I always love new sounds to play with... for the price this has a WEALTH of "toys". You wont be disappointed IMHO. Only issue i had was an initial demo message no going away. The interface has been seamless so far using my MBox as the ASIO controller. Novation 49 has no issues. That was easily fixed with a restart of the program. I will update as i use the tool more.
