My cozy genre :D (I mean that 100% unironically. I used to unwind from competitive games back pre-Covid by doing a run or two of Getting Over It. Eventually got my time down to 5m30s, with over a hundred clears. This iteration is one of the best I've played in the genre. You never feel like you're not in control, your skill level is more important than janky geometry, and balancing reloads and bullet cooldown feels really good. Once you find the rhythm, climbing becomes really soothing! Got my first clear in about 3 hours, now I'm gonna try to get my time under 10 minutes, and find more skips :)

with most of these streamer-slop-rage-games, there's an element of "i messed up here," no matter how angry it makes you, you can almost always see how something could've been your fault. with this one, no where where i failed felt like it was my fault. the gun is just suddenly heavier on one side, and then later is heavier on the other! a unique take on the genre, but not a fun one.
