I didn't check the difference but i enjoyed the picture. I wouldn't say it was 4k. Afterall, there was still a visual noise one or few times for half a second, it mostly depends on how fast your disk works. Not many FMVs have a high res as a separate option so that deserves a like.

I had no idea I was playing this in 4K. But once I saw I had this pack running, I checked the game and yeah, it's running in 4K resolution. You can tell by the startup logo, it's crisp and clean. The game itself has some film grain in certain parts (I didn't pay attention during most of it because it was so exciting), and it looks a lot like an older film that was digitally restored to 4K, which is awesome. I'm a collector of 4K boutique blu-ray discs and am a big fan of films not shot digitally because film naturally has a lot more shadows and darker scenes, which seems to be the case in this game. If the game was shot digitally, they did a great job with the lighting and post-processing, because it totally looks like it was shot on film. With that said, I also have to commend Wales Interactive for all the special effects, which looks like it was all done the old-school way. I didn't detect any CGI stuff at all. You know, this game would make a great movie if it wasn't a game. I'd put it on the level of LEVIATHAN (1989) if you've ever seen it. Anyway, big thanks for the free 4K addon! I'm not complaining!
