Terrific game,except half way through the trail it says "Failed to initialize engine ',then wont play.Have looked everywhere for help,many folks battling with this problem.

That Khan. My he is hard if you aren't prepared for horse archers. Ignore the horrendous store page movie. This dlc may not be worth $6 or w/e it is, but i'm glad I have it.

The last DLC we have, slightly weaker than previous 2 but not bad. The Jackal, like few other characters in this game his voice lines are reused from Stronghold 3, but hey he is not called the Hound or pretending to be Snake, so i am okay with his re use. He is an interesting lord in that his castles use European and Arabian buildings, and they do look quite nice. His attacks are also varied. He is sort of like the Wolf where he uses a large ammount of units from both sides, except he trades in heavy units for light units. This makes him weaker but also faster. Generally he isn't too tough all things considered but i like his personality a lot, kinda friendly to an extent. The Khan is, dissapointing. I expected a lot more but ultimately he isn't that great. His voice lines and personality are okay, he is a friendly ally and a dangerous opponent, but i can't say he stuck out to me. His castle is interesting in that he ussualy makes 2. One castle is for his keep and another is for a few resource buildings. It looks nice and i admit its perhaps one of most unique overall, but its not whole effective. The Khan relies heavily on Horse Archers, but sadly Crusader 2 nerfed them to the ground so, rather than being a feared opponent like Wazir, he is just kinda there. He can mass up solid attacks but his raids just don't pack a punch. I think this was an okay last DLC pack for this game. Jackal is fine and its nice to see him return, while Khan just kinda falls short, overall i still think its good to get this DLC if you are buying the game.

The Jackal and The Khan DLC is the 4th DLC for Stronghold Crusader 2. It adds the Jackal and The Khan to the game. These are both Arabic lords. I have played against both in a skirmish match and had a lot of fun doing so. Both AI lords are exciting to play against. This DLC adds a new skirmish trail, 2 new AI lords, new maps, new achievements, new castle designs and new shields. This is a great addition to the base game. I thought the Jackal was a tough opponent to face, but no one can beat The Wolf (myself lol). Overall this is a good DLC and am having lots of fun playing this so far. The Wolf recommends this game. 10/10. 4 DLC + base Stronghold Crusader 2 adds a lot of replayability to this game and endless hours of fun.
