This Laruaville is on the challenging side with powerups only being available on levels with powerup-making tiles and the new feature of the amulet pieces which must be matched strategically to remove obstacles. Even the mahjong and slider puzzle minigames are tougher, with the mahjong layouts now often having non-removable blank tiles to work around. The goal is still to remove all the coins from each level, and to finish building the scene.
There are actually 100 levels, not 90, so the game is a little longer than advertised. 20 slider puzzles, 20 mahjong layouts, and 8 spot the differences scenes comprise the minigames.
I respect artistic latitude, but the graphics in the town scene put me off this time, because it is a hodgepodge of assorted cultures which do not fit in with the supposed Aztec theme and makes it obvious the developer did not spend enough time fact checking the details. And the storyline is really lame to where I wondered if it was trying to make fun of the Aztec culture at times. If you can overlook the hot mess the whole town scene and story are, it's not a bad game. But sure hope the devs do their homework better for the next game.
