With this lord, when you confederate someone, it turns them into a crappy AI ally. It doesn't even give you a choice on this mechanic. Why? Because they say it could somewhat a little bit somehow be kind in line with the lore, so suck it up buttercup. Otherwise the whol sea captin thing would have been fun. If that mechanic was an option, Sure, thumbs up all around, but getting 5 hours into a campaign, and then finding out my whole evil empire plans have been sandbagged... Nope. Thumbs down. Maybe some weird dude out there likes that kinda crap, but I feel like it's a trash mechanic that ruins the campaign in A LOT of ways. Instant financial ruin. Lobotomized AI ally. And breaking the "Asur Domination" gameplay. It basically throws confederation out the window for this lord.

Why did you let the Maritime Patrol take all the settlement once confederated? The most stupid mechanic ever and you cant even declare war on them to take the settlements back? You just ruined it for me big time you brain rot!

Very fun legendary lord. Building the dragon ships as independent hordes with which you can sail to different locations to conquer them simultaneously is quite unique. Gifting settlements to other high elves to help them expand into places they normally wouldn't makes for more interesting campaign outcomes. The final battle is also pretty fun and rewarding. Overall very happy with the DLC though I'm not the biggest fan of the new units

Absolutely love this DLC <3 CONTEXT: In most without the player's intervention the homeland of the High elves tends to fall to Chaos and Dark Elves. With this DLC you could sail to the aid of other Elven factions, claiming land as you go. or... Better yet, establish all the High Elven factions anywhere on the map! Allowing you to reshape the whole dynamic of the world. This DLC is an absolute power trip and I am all for it
