IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED IN PLAYING THE GAME (I’m offering access to my roster of games and DLCs, Dragon Ball Xenoverse with DLC packs 1–3 included. If you’re a Dragon Ball fan, this content adds some fun extras, but whether it’s worth it depends on how much you crave more DB.) Review: As someone who grew up with Dragon Ball and wanted more variety after finishing the base game, DLC packs 1–3 gave me a reason to jump back in. Getting new characters to fight as, fresh missions to tackle, and cosmetic items to customize your hero is always exciting. It feels great to see familiar faces join the roster, and the little extras extend the fun. That said, the content leaves you wishing for more. The new missions and characters are enjoyable, but there aren’t enough of them to make the packs feel substantial. No extra mentors, limited new content, and a short runtime make the experience feel thin. For hardcore fans it’s fun while it lasts, but for the price, it doesn’t deliver the amount of content you’d hope for. Pro’s & Con’s: Pro’s: - New Characters: Expands the roster with fan favorites. - New Missions: Extra quests keep the story moving and extend replayability. - Cosmetic Items: Adds more customization options for your custom hero. Con’s: - Wished for More of Everything: Characters, missions, and overall content feel limited. - No Extra Mentors: A missed opportunity that would’ve made training more fun. - Too Few Characters: Doesn’t feel like enough for three DLC packs. - Not Enough Missions: Leaves the story additions feeling short and incomplete. - Not Worth Full Price: The content doesn’t match the cost. - Too Short: Not time-consuming or long enough to feel satisfying.

They stated in a article that they were adding alot more PQ's than just these, now it seems like they were speaking about 12 being across all three DLC.. And to make it much better , this content was already in our game, we just paid for it to be unlocked. Glad I didn't pay full price for the game itself so I didn't have to feel as dumb about getting the season pass. PS: The next DLC looks like it is just as sad, adding Towa and Mira as playable characters and such, even thought they WERE IN THE GAME. **facepalms** Price point is not proper for this DLC alone.

Reviewing these two GT packs is difficult as I had fun with the extended story, parallel quests and new masters. However, I don't believe I can say I recommend getting either GT pack at full price or even alone. I'm one of those people who actually enjoyed watching GT, so of course I was going to have a lot of fun! But like with the rest of Xenoverse, I found myself yearning for more. Where was Baby Vegeta or even just full-form Baby? What about one of the better GT villains, General Rilldo? I can somewhat understand only 2 of the shadow dragons (Though two lazily very alike ones) but it felt like they cut out some more niche fun bits. In terms of what was "added" since all content was there to begin with, just only now unlockable via these DLC's I found it nice to have the new masters, z-souls, skills and clothing to choose from and new playable characters but it wasn't super amazing or really game changing. These DLC's have their niche but overall for the price tag of 10$ each DLC, I can't say its worth buying. 20$ for barely anything isn't worth it, even on sale The only way I can recommend these DLC's is only if you get the seasons pass on sale, and ONLY if the seasons pass or bundle is on sale. NEVER get either GT DLC Pack at full price individually
"Damn you, other me!"
Story 7.5 GT Pack 1 covers parts of the Baby Saga and Super 17 Saga, which have been disrupted by Demigra's wormhole. Key events include Baby's revenge through Golden Great Ape Baby, the invasion of villains like the Frieza Force and Neo Ginyu Force from hell, and the birth of Super 17, all empowered by Demigra's villainous mode. Our CaC must help Earth's heroes. This DLC includes 3 Parallel Quests against Golden Great Ape Baby, Goku (GT), and SSJ4 Goku and SSJ4 Vegeta. It also adds 3 new playable characters: Goku (GT), Trunks (GT), and Pan, each with special dialogue, particularly with Dragon Ball Z characters who don't recognize them due to timeline differences. However, SSJ4 Goku and Super 17 are not included in GT Pack 1 and are instead available through a Dragon Ball wish, which might feel out of place without this DLC. Gameplay 8.5 While the trio of characters may appear unimpressive, with some rather difficult-to-obtain clothing, and just a decent Z-Soul, there are significant advantages. These include the essential Revenge of the Tuffle PQ for grinders, distinctive Planet Tuffle environment, the powerful ki blast ultimate Final Shine Attack, and two new masters, Tien and Yamcha. Tien teaches powerful skills such as Neo Tri-Beam, which is ideal for high stamina builds, and Tri-Beam, which can be used while carrying a Namekian Dragon Ball. Yamcha gives Wolf Fang Fist, which is a superior version of Meteor Crash and Spirit Ball, offering precise, fun-to-use homing attacks. Graphics 8.5 The character designs in GT Pack 1 maintain their authenticity to the original Dragon Ball GT series while harmoniously integrating with the Xenoverse's visual style. Goku sports his signature blue gi, Trunks wears a black long-sleeved shirt, and Pan dons a vibrant red crop top. Although it's unfortunate that Trunks doesn't have the option to wear his iconic brown blazer, which players can use for their custom characters, the DLC still offers a wide range of outfits and accessories inspired by secondary characters from the anime. These include the Murasaki Ninja Suit, Devilman Suit, Yamcha Classic Outfit, Mr. Popo Clothes, and Mira Outfit, all recreated faithfully from the anime and looking surprisingly good on custom characters. The visual impact of the super and ultimate skill effects is particularly striking. The Super Spirit Bomb gathers energy from the surroundings before unleashing a dramatic explosion, the Final Shine Attack emits intense green energy with a black ring effect, the Tri-Beam and Neo Tri-Beam unleash powerful waves, and the Wolf Fang Fist boasts a striking blue electric-like effect. These dramatic graphics, enhanced by these effects, truly stand out in this DLC. Sounds 8 For the voice acting in the Japanese dub, the original anime voice actors, including Masako Nozawa, Takeshi Kusao, and Yūko Minaguchi, reprise their roles and deliver outstanding performances. The sound design has significantly improved compared to the base game, particularly for skills like Final Shine Attack and Tri-Beam, which utilize their iconic blast sounds effectively. Although some repetitiveness still exists, such as Super Spirit Bomb retaining the Kamehameha sound, and Spirit Ball and Wolf Fang Fist lacking Yamcha's iconic soaring ball and wolf roar sounds, the overall quality of the voice acting and sound design is commendable. Replayability 9 The GT Pack 1 offers content with significant replay value, such as the PQ Revenge of the Tuffle, which is crucial for leveling up CaC and earning a substantial amount of Zeni effortlessly. Tri-Beam is useful for efficiently completing Dragon Ball collecting missions from story mode or PQ, and Final Shine Attack and Neo Tri-Beam have immense potential for high ki or high stamina builds. Although it's not exhaustive, it adds valuable content to the base game and functions quite effectively.
Overall 8.3
The GT Pack 1 for Dragon Ball Xenoverse adds a captivating extension to the game's narrative, focusing on pivotal events from the Baby Saga and Super 17 Saga. Although the trio of new characters and some items may initially seem underwhelming, the DLC truly excels with its crucial Parallel Quests, powerful abilities such as Final Shine Attack and Neo Tri-Beam, and the inclusion of two new masters. The character designs remain faithful to the original Dragon Ball GT series, and the sound design, particularly the Japanese voice acting, is exceptional despite some repetitive elements. Overall, the DLC offers substantial replay value and effectively enhances the base game.

This dlc just farts right up your face when you've gone through 30 minutes long of time patrols and then the supreme kai of time just says "let's have some tea" and that's what you get, one unfinished storyline, 3 PQ and 2 masters, they could as well not release that at all, even if they give us 3 DLC, if they're all like this one, they're not even worth the price of a single one.

Where's the Baby saga. Throwing you into the middle of the saga with Great Ape Baby is just ridiculous. People that don't know the GT saga too well (such as myself) really just get thrown these new characters with zero backstory. It's confusing. The content itself admits it's only HALF of the GT saga (which is untrue as this is only a small portion of the actual saga) plus the lack of actual GT characters being used. Omega Shenron, Super 17, and Gogeta in my opinion should have been put into this DLC instead of the base game, since they ARE GT CHARACTERS. Make the future DLC actually worth the price, 3 time patrol missions, 3 PQ's, a couple new skills, 2 new masters (of which are not worth the time to train with), and a new map is NOT worth the price. When I bought the season pass, before I knew what the DLC were going to be about, I expected them to be at par with the base game adding in at least 3 hours of story line and about 15 PQ's. All and all, huge disappointment. Please don't mess up future DLCs, make them worth the money.

This Dlc includes Yamcha and Tien as masters, with decent moves. The moves were already in the game but now you can equip them to your CC (Custom Character) It also adds GT Goku GT Trunks and Pan. It also adds 3 new PQ'S and 3 new Story Missions. So you may ask, What's the downfall? Well it's only half of the story, GT Goku can't go Super Sayain 4 in battle, Yamcha sucks, they don't have regular Baby, Vegeta Baby, or any new content really. 5$ is a fair price, not 10, and I think they should have had the full GT saga story.

While I do recommend this DLC, I'm telling you right now, get this pack with the season pass or at a sale. I do not think this DLC is worth 9.99$. It simply doesn't have enough gameplay to justify it's asking price. What this pack does offer is not bad at all though. 4 more Time Patrol mission and 3 more parallel quests, More outfits, attacks, Z souls, 3 new characters and 2 new mentors. These are always welcome, but the asking price should drop to 4.99$. If that was the case, I could not recommend this more. Since it is not the case, once again, buy the season pass or get this at a sale.

With this overpriced DLC you will be paying 9.99$ for GT Goku whos voice actor is Dragonball Kai Gohan who can't tranform into super saiyan 4 during battle but does it during the time partrol quest, the most hated Trunks in the entire Dragonball franchise who has a sword which show that this is nothing but Trunks with a outfit change that they should have just added to the game as a selectable outfit from the beginning, Annoying pan but looks like it was only thing that was done right., Poorly Designed Textures of the Planet Tuffle stage. A Fight against Big Ape Baby Vegeta with no normal Baby Vegeta to fight or not even playable in this at all. No Uub at all...... Even with the new moves and having yamcha and tien as masters there is not enough content for this to be 9.99$ WHERE DID BABY VEGETA AND SUPER 17 END UP? FIND OUT NEXT TIME!!! ON DRAGONBALL XV!!!.. for 9.99$ :o

I'll be honest. It seems like the server issues are mostly solved, however, I cannot really condone the amount of content in this DLC as being worth $9.99, maybe $4.99, get it on sale, unless you bought the season pass. If the DLC continues to be this size, and released on a monthly basis, then your best bet is a season pass. Content included in this are: Two masters: Tien and Yamcha (Yes, you heard me right.) Three Parallel Quests: Fight Great Ape Baby, Fight GT Goku, fight SSJ4 Goku + Vegeta and then SSJ4 Gogeta. Five outfits (That I know of): A Launch Costume, a Spike the Devilman Costume, and Yamcha's outfit, all 700k/piece (2.8mil) Zenny each. A Mr. Popo outfit and Murasaki Ninja outfit, which I don't know the price tag on, but likely about the same. Z-Souls: All previously available to NPCs/Characters, now available to your custom. "Story Mode": You get a couple. Technically 30 minutes worth if you are a level 80. A few fights, not many. New Moves: Super Spirit Bomb, and two moves using the power-pole. Plus some other moves available through the new PQs, and new masters. New Characters: GT Goku, GT Trunks, Pan I tried to be thorough without itemizing abosolutely everything. I'll leave the judgement to you. If that is worth $9.99, then get it, if not, don't, or get the season pass instead. (Worth it, honestly.) Game is worth it to DBZ fans, the DLC is a little scammy. P.S.: I didn't unlock the ultimate finishes for two of the new PQs, it was brought to my attention Omega Shenron is available to fight for the Gogeta one.
