It's a cool game. Basically just the normie original Puyo Puyo, but with a Sonic Underground-style ROM-hack makeover for '90s American and European audiences. Since it's based on the first 16-bit Puyo Puyo, it definitely suffers from first-game-in-the-series syndrome and all that.
It’s like Tetris, but instead of clearing rows, you're matching groups of the same color, and chains happen as matches trigger others. It gets so unbelievably hard, so fast.
SEGA pulled this from the Steam store, so I guess it doesn’t matter much now anyway. If you have another way to play it, give it a go—if for nothing else, just for the experience.
