Pros - Simple cart racing - No vehicle transformations like Transformed or Cross Worlds - No rubber banding Cons - No 2K by 1400p support - There is a weapon that makes the screen go upside down which is terrible with the bad resolution of this game - The music can glitch out and sound like a static mess. This was the first Sonic spin-off game that I've played back on the Xbox360, and it was also my first introduction to the Jet Set Radio series. I'm probably like the only person in the world who actually spent HOURS playing this game and even own 2 other copies of this game on both Xbox360, and Wii, and now I have it on Steam. This game is so nostalgic for me. Everything about the game itself is amazing, the characters with their own special all star moves, the abundance of tracks, and even the game soundtrack was perfect,it makes me wish that Sega would do something like this again.

It's not the most premium-feeling game, but it still really fun. It has a very arcade-ey style.

I used to play this on an iPhone pretty much a decade ago This game is honestly really nostalgic and has aged surprisingly well Also "so much more" slaps hard

This is a really good game if you like Sonic and kart racers, sure, the sequel has more complex mechanics, but for a casual, simple experience, this is the game for you, not to mention it has characters from Sega's other franchises, making it all the better since it's not all just Sonic!

Not a bad karting game that I remembered playing in my childhood. IDK how this game is 15 years old already. Maxxed out the few settings you can change in the config window for this game and you will need to turn on VSync or cap the FPS to monitor refresh rate since anything above breaks the audio completely. As much as Sega didn't give each character separate stats, its more about the hitbox more than anything especially on tight turns. Item balancing isn't a concern since a casual game needs to be rediculous to keep it fun. Would reccomened if its on sale

The best game compared when to "sonic and allstars racing transformed" and "team sonic racing"... If you don't mind an old game The announcer is funny The stages are good Great character animations Fun challange missions No cringy voicelines Fair AI It's kind of sad that they peaked at their first racing game and made each new iteration worse, hopefully crossworlds is better!

I first played this game years ago on my Nintendo Wii and had a blast playing it, years later while looking at some sonic games that was on sale and I saw this game and instantly knew that I had to play it. wasd can be a little Janky for me but you can play it with a controller. If you like saga games and like racing games I really recommend playing this game. I might try sonic & saga all stars Racing transformed. I heard its pretty good!
