Snake blocks ruined Christmas :( I was playing it too long and I forgot to make the fruit salad and my mother yelled at me :(
Snake blocks filled the void that the app flow left in my heart. It's really addicting and pleasant to look at. It's also the right balance of challenging and relaxing. I curse at the game just enough to feel like I'm working my brain, but not enough to feel constantly frustrated. Overall it's a really decent puzzle game to pass the time, and if you need a neutral/positive distraction from anxiety or stressful situations, it could really help.
Usually I'd rather play this kind of game online for free, but I think it's worth buying because you can tell that a lot of attention and personality went into the game and it's nice to support indie developers.

Amazing, packed with content and cheap.
50+ levels included in the game by default (I have played none of
A level editor which is simply amazing (created at least 30 levels so far)
Good music/art.
The level editor itself is worth much more 5.99$ (CDN), with the premade levels as an added bonus.
Do yourself a favor and buy this game.

snakes. blocks. my two favorite things in life combined in one beautifully crafted game. at times i found myself thinking "man, this game would really be the shit if i had a few more snakes and a few more blocks", and BAM, more snakes, more blocks, more puzzle fun. definitely an enjoyable experience from start to finish!

This Game is simple and fun.
Pros :
> The music is good and relaxing
> The design is really nice
> Level editor is very easy to use, too
Suggestions (i don't know if this game will be updated, but ill write stuff i think it would be cool in the game anyways)
> Be able to custom blocks in level editor(like coloring a block with a color or even drawing something in it), so it would be possible to create pixel art levels
> Larger levels (i fell like 5x5 is not big enough), 9x9 (or more) levels would be nice
> Be able to create levels with more than five snakes (at least with 6 snakes) in level editor
I recommend this game for everyone :D

The camera is a bit annoying (it always sticks to some fixed viewpoints), there is no zoom, the game area is not vertically centered, the background can be hard on the eyes sometimes.
Still, this is a solid puzzle with nice graphics and interesting levels.

This game is brilliant, challenging, and tons of fun. It's calm, happy, and very relaxing. Not to mention, it's straight-up adorable. With a great level editor and Workshop support coming soon, there is only room for improvement and expansion. I definitely recommend picking this one up.

The astetic is nice and cute but this game has no sound options at all. I've played though all the 2 and 3 snake levels and it feels like they are just the warm up for the harder levels. Controls are lacking. The camera is locked to isometric corners and can obstruck your view. Nonsnake blocks can be made see-through. While you can change the view with wasd or the arrows the snakes can only be moved by the mouse and they often don't move as you want them to. (If you don't click on a snake head you will move the camera which can be annoying) Becaues you can click on the boxes in the top left to draw the snakes back one square you can just try again but I would rather it work the first time.
Overall the game could be alot better and the lack of good controls are killing my wish to finish the game, maybe I will come back to it at some poin and try to finish it out. As it is I wouldn't pick it up unless you are okay with it's clunky nature.

I am indifferent about this game...
The puzzles are good and become challenging, but what's a huge turn off is the camera control and angle, and how to move the snakes.
Click on a snake head and have to move it in an awkward way that it's possible, common even, for it to go in a completely direction that you have to roll it back. There are also blind spots that become difficult to feed through, even if when able to see through the walls, that you have to angle the camera to find an opening or possible route, and have to memorize it but at a specific angle.
It was very frustrating to control the snake head in order to solve puzzles, than it was on the puzzles itself.
I sadly can't recommend this game due to the controls and camera frustration.

The lack of a free camera annoys me, its fixed on specific angles where i dont see why, making it hard to guide your snakes sometimes. Controlling them is a bit cumbersome too, but ironically easier on the harder levels (as theres less options) It's an alright concept, but i wouldnt say its worth the price.

I like the puzzles, but the game is so short (less than 3 hours) and the controls are so bad that it's really hard for me to recommend it unless you catch it on sale.
To clarify on the controls, your camera is locked to isometric angles (sometimes your snake is obstructed from all isometric angles, though at least you can still drag its head if you know where it is behind obstructions), and clicking and dragging in 3D space is REALLY awkward. Your snake will often go in unintended directions because the tolerance between them is wonky, and then when you try to back it up it'll go loop around some more.
