Bulldozer function does not work. Took a while for me to figure out I wasn't doing it wrong its the game itself.... Too late to get a refund.

Unfortunatly it will NOT run full screen no matter what. Requested a refund, and returned this game. If it would run full screen, I might like it. I didn't even play the game my run time in 1 minute, then it says 16 minutes but thats not right because it said running after I closed the game. I had to log off to force it to close, to keep it under the 2 hour return limit. So if you do try it and dont like it like me, make sure the time clock stops when you close the game. I expected full screen, It is only playable in a window and that is not enjoyable or relaxing. I wouldn't waste the space on my hard drive if the game was free. If they made it playable in full screen I would try it again, on a 1 hour demo or something would be nice to make sure it goes into full screen. PS their is a full screen option, But the Screen flashes a couple of times and the game says you are in full screen mode, but you are still really in window mode. :( PS: Game develpors If you can fix full screen option (I run windows 7 64 bit if that makes a difference or not IDK) I would be happy to try this game again If you offered a 1 hour free trial, That way I can comfirm full screen mode and purchase the game. I know not every company/developer wants to offer free trials, But consider people who would not otherwise buy the game will try the free trial, and unlike old disc that people could have forever, A free trial on Steam can be time limited. People who liked the game before and got a free 1 hour trial, Will only remind them how much they liked it and after 1 hour they will buy it. Win Win. People who never played the game or maybe not even thinking about the game will see the game in the demo section, and if they like it enough they will buy it. I am not asking for a 7 day free trial, *unless you want to make it that long. But please fix full screen and offer 1 hour free trial so I can confirm full screen works and buy it.

I have been a long time fan of the Zoo Tycoon games, but recently bought a mac and was looking for something else to play. I came across this game and saw it had ok reviews.
Overall, the game is ok. Its clunky and the graphics are not great. It's difficult to figure things out (Like how to get water in enclosures!) and there are just not enough choices to make the park look pretty. I found it is almost impossible to make the visitors happy (They all just say my paths need to be nicer, but I can't figure out how to do that!) Then my game crashed after I had spent considerable time making a park. I had been saving periodically and it didn't even load the last version I had saved when I restarted the game. I spent $8 on the game but I kind of wished I had saved my money. I guess it will be an ok game to waste time on but its just not quite as streamlined and easy to use as I had been used to.

a good addon to an even better game
altough the graphic is what you expect from a 2003 game the gameplay and design stil makes up for a lovely park simulator

Highly recommended, it's an old game but still a good park simulator.
It will crash if you tab out of a fullscreen game though.

This is by far my favorite game to play now. I was a HUGE fan of the Zoo Tycoon franchise, and being that it isn't available on Steam (and my laptop has no disk drive) I downloaded the original "Wildlife Park" to see how I like it. I LOVED IT, so I downloaded the "Wild Creatures" expansion. Having loved that so much as well, I play this game more than any others I've gotten from Steam.
Bottom line: LOVE the original title and the "Wild Creatures" expansion more than I ever loved Zoo Tycoon and it's entire franchise.
Yes, I would recommend this game to EVERYBODY that loved (or even just liked or enjoyed) Zoo Tycoon.

For starters, this game obviously came out years ago, but does that bring the enjoyment level down? No, it does not! The game it self is not what I was expecting it to be, however like all games it has its upsides and downsides. Upsides: The animal selection is large enough for a zoo game, and on top of that, Wild creatures has extinct animals you can bring back including two dinosaurs, Velociraptor and Archaeopteryx. Another upside is that you can use a certain fences to make a tank using a water pump. Downsides: Like in all zoo games, the guests are as need as **** ( are real zoo guests this flippin' needy!). One thing that I found weird is that instead of placing animals, you place houses that are specific to a species of animal and then you can buy the animal that the house is specified for (what happens if I want to put tigers in an enclosure with a lion house?!). Overall this game is interesting enough if you love animals.
