Terminal 81R Steam Charts & Stats

I really have mixed feelings about this one. In one hand, it is not a bad game. But on the other hand, I felt that this game was longer than it should have been. The game has some new minigames here and there, but most of them don't add that much to say that it is a "better" game than the original 'Terminal 81.' In fact, I think that this is even inferior in some aspects, because it ends up feeling more monotonous and repetitive than the first one. The driving mechanics are not very good, and I ALWAYS preferred to walk than to ride the bike. I also felt that wasting so much time talking to every random character walking on the street wasn't necessary either; most of the conversations are uninteresting and shallow anyway. __________________________________________________________ UPDATE: I just finished the game (I got one of the bad endings). I must say that the last part where you are stuck in the abandoned building with the two flashlight guys was fun but also frustrating. That being said, this game has some really nice moments, and the story actually got more interesting by the end. In fact, it actually had a very sad plot-twist that I was not expecting, and it is something that you cannot change, regardless of how many different decisions you take in the game. You could get a "good ending," but the outcome remains the same. It's pretty sad, but I'm personally a fan of sad endings, so this actually made me increase my rating a little bit. The story of this game ended up being superior to the original, so now I give it a 7.5/10 to this one. At this point, I really cannot say which of these two games is better or worse. The first game is superior in some aspects, but inferior in others; the same goes with this one. So, I think this is basically a tie. Well, after this long review, I would honestly love to see a 3rd 'Terminal 81' in the future. I would definitely play it.
